BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. I was told they would honor their deal ONLY IF I CHANGED MY NEGATIVE REVIEW. The General Manager misleads you and does not honor deals verbal or written. This man discriminates against women and takes advantage of people who work hard for their money to buy a car. He goes by Ralph, Mike, Brandon or anyone other name he decides to give you. Please GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. This one is horrible.

Well, they may be the answer to a Nissan owner's prayers for all I can tell. I tried scheduling service with them using their online appointment screen. After I entered my contact info: nothing. I tried their online help function, which "helped" by displaying their phone number. The service department, supposedly open at the time, never answered. After about the 20th ring, I decided this was no place for me. Thanks for letting me know how you roll, Nissan of Richmond. I appreciate the info.

Returned to Nissan of Richmond to revisit a truck I test drove 2 weeks ago but It was just reduced to $32,995. I went back and re-drove the truck and noticed a huge crack in windshield which hadn't been there on first test drive. Ralph, the sales manager, gave us a final price of around $37000, The starting price was raised by $2000 over the published website price, then added in $425+ for the cracked windshield (Ralph stated that it was broken at his lot but he said we had to pay for it). There was also an additional mandatory charge for $499. When asked about this charge, he said in case you totalled your vehicle and come back to his dealership to buy another you would get it back. He refused to give us the $ breakdown to review after my wife questioned him about the advertised starting price being raised. He was told my wife was negotiating for the truck but refused to speak to her or meet her eyes. Hmmm. When asked about the $2000 more than the stated advertised price and to see his worksheet he became extremely angry and belligerent. Yelled "Leave. I'm not doing business with you". BEWARE totally dishonest dealership.

I came one evening after work Dec. 2023 to seriously look at a vehicle to purchase. My salesman was nice enough, but we were continually being harassed by the finance man, even during the test drive. He was very rude and extremely aggressive towards me. My next unbelievable encounter was with the manager who told me he Would Not give me a lower price than list- there was a $5,300 incentive for this 2023 vehicle on-line! He was also very rude and insulting! I am a 60 year old career woman purchasing an SUV for myself, I was definitely being discriminated against at this dealership. I cannot truly express my disgust at a situation like this, in today's times especially. I walked out of course! I would not even purchase a bicycle from this business! Most definitely something sketchy going on here.

I took my Nissan titan to the dealer to which they told me I needed a motor so I have a motor installed and it runs exactly the same so I take it back for another diagnosis and they tell me again I need another motor. This is the short version all I’m trying to say is these people have no idea what they are doing I would not recommend there services to anyone at this particular location

As a veteran and a recent customer of Nissan of Richmond, I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience to warn others about the deceptive practices and disrespectful treatment I encountered during and after my car purchase. On November 02, 2023 I purchased a used Lexus from Nissan of Richmond. When I first arrived and inquired about the vehicle, the salesperson Antouan, AKA Tony, assured me that the car had undergone a thorough inspection and was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, I later discovered that this was far from the truth. The vehicle had an issue, one that the Nissan of Richmond was fully aware of, yet they chose to withhold this critical information from me during the sale. This blatant disregard for transparency and a total lack of integrity by the dealership is unacceptable. As a customer, I trusted them to provide honest and accurate information about the vehicle I was purchasing. Instead, I find myself facing unexpected and costly repairs due to a pre-existing problem that the dealership deliberately chose to lie about. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the dealership responded and suggested I speak with the service manager, Scott, to see if they could help resolve the issue. Regrettably, my attempts to find a solution with Scott were met with continuous evasion and I kept getting the run around by his cronies. Despite numerous attempts to contact him as advised by the dealership, I was left in the dark. Attempts to address the issue with the dealership were met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. The customer service I received after the sale was disgraceful, and it was apparent that their primary concern was closing the deal rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from Nissan of Richmond to proceed with extreme caution. The deceptive practices and dishonesty displayed by this dealership are reprehensible, and I regret trusting them with such a significant purchase. Save yourself the headache and financial burden - look elsewhere for a dealership that values honesty and integrity in their business dealings.

Yea, it could be a bait and switch shop. We came in to look at a used car that was priced really well. Cody did a nice job showing us the car. Good test drive. When we got back, Ralph, probably the sales manager, suggested we could get a new car at a great price with special Nissan financing. We did NOT bring in our trade-in but was told what we were offered was too low and they could offer much more. Then pushed us to come in early next week. We did not get into the fees and charges. Overall, I would be cautious. Reading the other reviews makes me NOT want to go back!

PLEASE do not deal with their Parts Department! They are RUDE and LIE! They have a Yelp Review of 1.4 (what does that tell you), should I say MORE. When you ask to speak to a manager about you experience they are NASTY and RUDE! I have written Nissan off of my cars to purchase or own! The vehicle I have now is a 2004 Nissan 350z with 17,300 miles on it, I will put this car up for sale and rid myself of Nissan Cars! Good going Nissan of Richmond your customer service is terrible! Believe it or not, there are other Car Manufactures that provide good customer service, take your business to them and have peace of mind!

Salespersons are crooks. They Will not deal with you in good faith. Beware of their tactics. Prices listed online are deceptive. They will bait you and switch on you once you get to the dealership. Vehicle listed online for 40K with 48,000 miles BMW 740i, the piled on all kinds stuff and eventually car was 50K .So if you are to finance this car at 50K, go figure how much it will cost you in the end. They are not to be trusted

My car (2017 rogue purchased from this dealership) has been sitting there after it broke down in the middle of the road on September 9th. It is now September 25th and they haven't even looked at it yet. I have called many times looking for an update and they keep saying "someone will call right me back"- I've been waiting around for weeks with no updates or a call back. Do NOT bring your car here.

I wish I would've looked at these reviews before going to their establishment. The lack of knowledge they expect from women is insulting. Moreover, they use bad faith tactics when it comes to pricing their vehicles. Finally, what they list is not what you get. I went to see a car today, arrived, and the brakes were messed up. Went back later in the day to see a different car that was listed at 19k miles when it actually had over 50k on the car. Untrustworthy people!

Never buy from this dealership. Never have dealt with such an arrogant group. And to think a woman does not know when a deal is bad is insulting. A moot point but I am an engineer. Assumptions are bad for business boys. I will not be spending my money at this establishment.

should be NEGATIVE 10. i wish i had read these comments before. they will not return a call and will spin you. my son's car had a small ding in the windshield that we did not see until in the bright sunshine and the rear middle brake light was not working. we did not notice till leaving the lot after being told as certified used everything has been done. they passed the inspection! the sales rep brandon stern lied to us. neither stern or the sales manager has returned calls. they told my son that gap insurance would cover damages at college if theft occurs. another lie. i want them to take responsibility for the windshield and brake light. I spoke with the gap insurance folks and will demand that this coverage be canceled . i have contacted nissan corporate about the shady dealings.
