This was my first visit to Tom Leonard's, I was shopping nearby and wanted to stop in and see what the hype is all about. They have amazing deals on fresh produce so I got some purple cabbage. The sign said they were $0.99 each but when I got to the register they were $0.99 a lb. So much for the customer always being right.

I love this store. It is so refreshing to go somewhere that is not corporate. The seafood counter is wonderful with a great variety. The meat is also very good quality. It's a bit pricey but keep an eye out for the special dealsThe produce is fresh and lot of it local.

WOW! Just amazing! The space was very clean, easy to get around and organized! We went there for our Christmas Tree. Their trees were just great! After looking at other stores we were disappointed, but then when we got to Tom Leonard’s we lit up with excitement! Their trees we’re definitely not a disappointment! However most of all, the employees were amazing! Our tree helper, David, was fantastic. He let us choose lots of different trees to browse and couldn’t have been more patient. Thanks, David! Highly recommend.

Tom Leonard's Farmer's Market is a cute market. I love coming here even for a short while. Prices and merchandise seem pretty good.

The quality of product, especially the seafood and produce, has severely gone downhill. The smell of rotten food permeates the entire store. Tom, the owner, frequently berates the employees and embarrasses them in front of customers. I personally witnessed his mistreatment of both customers and employee, including myself. This place will be out of business within a year.

Third time visiting this store in Short Pump in the past several months, and each time I walk in I want to gag from the overwhelming odor of fish. I cannot enjoy shopping there anymore. Fresh seafood should never cause such a strong odor to permeate a whole store.

This place used to be great back in the day. Went today and store was severely lacking. We come here every year to get pumpkins and the selection was super disappointing. We didn't even buy any. We then went inside to get some groceries. Immediately we were greeted with a disgusting rotting smell. It was horrid. The produce was old and wilting. There were barely any items on the shelves. Will be finding somewhere else to go.

Good grocery store, but it is mainly for meat more than veggies! Hence, 4 stars ?

Not bad for a cute farmers-looking market in Short Pump area. Tom Leonard's Farmers Market fooled me. I really thought this land was owned by the Leonards and was converted to commercial property from farmland. They did a good job with positioning. The street is after the store. It looks like the store dominates the view of grocery landscape on West Broad Street. I was here with a friend looking to take a break from driving a long distance. The orange sign also caught our attention. I didn't have issues with the employees. We dressed like tourists, by the way. Hahaha. I bought a pack of thin crackers from Stew Leonard in Connecticut. Not knowing where the family business headquarters is located. After reading some reviews complaining about not fresh breads, it is normal for natural food store. That just means no preservatives added. So, use common sense. Look what you buy and eat as soon as you open.

bought a loaf of seeded rye bread for 5.99 yesterday10/30/23 and went to make a sandwich the first three slices were different from the second five slices and the last four slices were different.the first slices three slices were so stale and hard i had to throw them out.By looking at the pattern on the side of the bread you can tell they were not from the same loaf even the color of the slices were not consistent. If you are going to sell stale bread at least sell the whole loaf and not split them up .will not shop there anymore.

Do not buy the orchard, peach scones!! I bought a pack for almost 6 dollars this evening took a bite out of one and the peaches were so spoiled. I had to spit everything back out before I threw up. Really disappointing. Makes me not want to shop there again.

I don't give 5 star ratings normally. I feel like everyone has somewhere they can improve. To me, Tom Leonard's is what a grocery store should be. Is it a little more expensive? Yes. They also don't have the massive selection that you get at a standard grocery store, but I believe that is because they are more selective and involved with picking the products they have in their store. I feel like they are trying to choose the best of what's available, and it shows.. in spades. The customer service is really great too.
