There are a few ups stores within five minutes of me but I prefer this store. The staff is fast and friendly. There are usually a few counters up and running.

One of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had at a UPS Store. I came in needing a simple one-page letter notarized. Only one employee could notarize documents, and he was at a computer, saying he’d be available in “10 minutes.” I was visibly sick—sneezing, watery eyes, and clearly miserable—but I waited patiently on the floor, desperate to get it done. Ten minutes passed, so I stood up in case they’d forgotten me. Another 10 minutes went by, and the notary was still helping someone else who had a complicated issue with tons of questions. No one stepped in to assist or even acknowledge the situation, and I had clearly arrived before that customer.
Multiple people asked if I was in line. I kept saying—loudly—that I was waiting for the notary, hoping someone would take notice. No one did. I ended up leaving without being helped. Totally unacceptable customer service.
