No respect for appointments and people's time at the pharmacy. I waited nearly thirty minutes for a scheduled vaccine appointment and ended up having to leave without getting vaccinated for a work obligation. I was on time and filled out advanced paperwork, but didn't get further than being told to wait while they handed out prescriptions to people who arrived after me. I still have to get vaccinated but will go somewhere else where appointment times are respected.

Terrible Walgreens in Short Pump, VA. First of all pharmacists are unresponsive - questions go unanswered (they say they are too busy to consult with you about a prescription but I believe it is federal law that they do so) and they are always out of OTC items. I've given upon them and go to a Walgreens that is 2 miles away (vs 1/2 mile) and their pharmacists are great and their shelves are stocked. Also I do a lot of photo printing at Walgreens. Their website and their phone message say that you can pick up photos at the drive thru pharmacy if you call ahead. I called ahead to Short Pump and they refused to do so. I told them I have Covid (which is true...so does my husband) and I said I I did not think they would want me to come into the store with Covid. They said they had no problem with customers who had covid coming into the Short Pump store with covid and without masks. But they had terminated pick up at the drive thru and at the curb because Covid was no longer an issue and they were not concerned with customers transmitting covid to others in the store!!!I then called the Parham Rd Walgreens and they were shocked...they said they still followed the covid protocol of allowing you to pick up at drive thru or do curbside.

Pharmacy does an excellent job in Short Pump. They handle entitled people with much kindness as they can. If you live in Short Pump, then you know. Horrible how people treat service people in the west end. I want To Thank ALL The staff that deal with them. I want them to know I get you; I understand.

This is literally the worst pharmacy ever. A doctors office I go to requires that I use this location, but if you can, avoid at all costs. RX is supposed to be ready after every appointment. Without fail, after each appointment, I am either told it is not ready and to come back in an hour, or they do not have the medication at all….? It doesn’t matter if I arrive 5 minutes after the appointment or 2 days after. I have now picked up medicine 4 times from this location and this has happened to me every. single. time. Do yourself a favor, save your time and go elsewhere.

The man behind the counter Eddie got very upset with me when I told him I didn't understand why he told me my prescription was gonna be ready in 30 minutes 3 hours ago and then proceeded to tell me to wait another 30 minutes. He walked to the back slammed the door and after 15 minutes, he came out and proceeded to not assist me and helped other people.

Just started using this pharmacy bc of nearby location. I've been there 5-6 and EVERY time there is some complication. I have signed up for notifications twice now. Very sporadic at best. Never had these issues at CVS. Switching my prescriptions back to them.

I moved from Virginia Beach to Glen Allen and had my Rx transfered to this location. Virginia Beach kept filling my Rx and the Walgreens here has done everything to get my Rx filled (computer glitch at the beach) even though it was filled @ the beach. They have gone above and beyond each month to get me my scripts within a day. They are always courteous and understanding. Love this location and the staff. I can't say enough about the excellent service they have provided me. ☆☆☆☆☆

My daughter is a type one diabetic. I called ahead before they closed to let them know she was out of test strips and I was on my way to pick them up. They closed at 9. Arrived at 8:58 to locked doors and drive tru closed. Who does that?!

The pharmacist Caitlyn Lee has no business in the medical field at all. There is no compassion inside of her being anywhere. Every visit iv had since this particular pharmacist is working at the Nuckols Road location I am inconvenienced, told to wait twenty to thirty minutes when there is no one at the pharmacy counter nor no cars behind me in drive through, she did not want to assist me in printing my medications, has caused me to be off my medication just because of the difficulty I have with her when I try to obtain my medications and she has denied me my medication as well. She is not a pharmacist like the ones I have dealt with over the last ten plus years that I have been picking up my medication at this location. She has never told me about the prescription savings clubs as Ms. Linda did when I arrive to the pharmacy this morning. I mean to tell you this particular pharmacist does not care one bit if customers receive their medications or not. I have never experienced a pharmacist such as this in my ten plus years of being a customer if not only Walgreens however this particular location. I am very upset that a pharmacist would not take any medication customers need seriously.

My daughter is a type one diabetic. She ran out of test strips tonight. The Nuckols Rd location is our primary pharmacy and they close at 9:00 pm. I called at 8:45 pm while on my way to the pharmacy to fill her prescription and let them know I was on my way and would be there on or before 9:00. The lady I spoke with said it was fine as long as I made it there by 9. I arrived at 8:48 pm and ran to the door only to have it locked. The front workers were standing around talking

An area bank requires use of the Walgreens pharmacy. Go to ANYother than this location, speed, personnel, ability to do their job. A two year olds antibiotic was not covered due to incompetence. Rest of the store is clean and convenient.
