“Been using them for 10+ years. They are upfront with me about what my vehicle does and doesn't need. Once, they asked to do a maintenance item 15k miles before it was due. When I asked why they wanted to do it so early, they explained the part cost was less than a hundred dollars but the work was costly because of the three(or four) hours of labor to remove various parts of the motor to do the maintenance work. Since my vehicle was already going to get the same teardown work to fix a separate issue, their recommendation was going to save me hundreds of dollars. Their honesty in looking out for me and my vehicle is why they have my business.”

It's great cgreat care and efficiency. I was only waiting in the office for a short time. I noticed that they not only checked my truck on the fluid. Good, but checked it again before they released it to me which is extremely appreciated.. And?

“I am truly thankful for Harris Garage thoroughly looking over the safety of my 2000 Ford F-350 that has 310,000 hard use miles on it that I was foolishly planning on driving to Florida with my family in it with a vehicle in-tow behind it. I could only imagine being stuck on the side of the road several states away from home and several states away from my destination. Or even worse, having an accident due to a safety failure. I grew up in a shop and I claim to know how to work on cars but I'm not smart enough to know that the thing rattling around loose on the driveshaft is a vibration dampening weight so I taped it up with some electrical tape. I'm sure glad I didn't just cut it off like I was planning on doing; come to find out the undampened vibration could damage bearings, differential gears, and even crack the tail shaft of my transmission! Harris Garage is truly first class and I am blessed that they prevented me from making such a terrible decision.”
