“I cannot say enough amazing things about Kiln Creek Animal Care — and especially Dr. Lee.
Dr. Lee is absolutely incredible. She has a way with Walker that is so special. She gets down on the floor with him, speaks his language, plays with him, and earns his trust before even beginning an exam. That level of care and patience means everything to me.
Walker has had a very rough first year of life — parvo at just 4 months old, kennel cough, pneumonia — and he is alive because of the team here. Their quick action, knowledge, and dedication truly saved him.
Last night, I ran in quickly to pick up medication and left Walker in the car since I was only going to be a minute. Dr. Lee and two of the techs came running out with me just to see him and check on him after his neuter surgery. That meant more to me than they probably realize. They genuinely love him, and it shows in everything they do.
The care, compassion, and attention Walker receives here is phenomenal. I am beyond grateful to have found a team that treats my dog like their own.

“I have been bringing my dogs here for years. I can not say enough good things about them. I can not choose who I want my dog to see because I love them both equally the same. Dr. Mackey and Dr.Cork and I know they both truly care about my dog. I feel they love animals as much as I love my animal. The prices are fair and everything is explained to you and they listen to you. The front staff is so friendly and all the attendants are knowledgeable and very kind. You can not go wrong choosing this clinic. They have new weekend appointments and try to work around your schedule. They are just plain outstanding ?”

“We had our lab for 14 short years. The ACG staff were so great with him until the end. We stayed with him until he took his last breath and they allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It was the hardest decision but the staff were understanding and compassionate. We want to say thank you again for all you do!
All a person needs is love and a loyal dog, we had our Murphy!

“JD, our cat, was holding up his paw for a few days and we decided to take him to Colony Animal Hospital, our vet provider for many years. Thanks to their early morning drop off (7:30 AM) I was able to bring him in and he would be seen as time permitted. Dr. Riggs was able to see JD early and discovered a burn/cut on his paw. Via phone call she let us know about the injury and her treatment plan and meds we could get when we picked up JD. The care for JD was excellent and the office routines are well established and flow smoothly.
Colony Animal Hospital is a welcoming place. Decorations change with seasons but more importantly everyone is an animal lover. Pets as well as people are acknowledged and respected.

“After moving to Hampton and being far away from our other vet, I decided to check out veterinary clinics nearby. Came across Poquoson Vet Hospital and boy am I glad I did! From the first interaction of making an appointment to actually coming in for the first visit was a pleasant experience!I brought our dog Tucker to this facility and they welcomed us with warm smiles and pleasant demeanors. Tucker is usually hesitant to go to the vet but he walked right in and was friendlier than usual! After a brief registration, we were taken back to the room. I cannot recall the vet tech's name but she was awesome with Tucker, very friendly and calm.We were greeted by Dr. Williams and he came in the same way, introduced himself and gave Tucker all the attention he deserved! Very knowledgeable and approachable, which is hard to find now a days!I would highly recommend if in the area. Staff was pleasant, quick appointments and very quick to get in for an appointment!”
“Took my dog there today and unfortunately had to put her down. Dr. Amy and the tech that assisted her were amazing, talked us through the terrible process and gave us all the time we needed with our baby even after she was gone. Can’t say thank you enough..”
“I recently took my cat in for a check-up and she is being taken good care of. My cat has some common health problems and parasites. all worked out pretty well . They also deeply cleaned the cat's ears. They were really friendly and explain any details to us. My cat is usually nervous, but when he gets home, he seems happy. The next day he looked much fresher. They also paid a return visit call to my cat the next day to make sure everything was all right. And they can also take samples of feces at any time, which is really convenient. And the price not expensive. This has to be a 5 star.”
