How do you charge $8 to cash a check when the account holder gives you a check from their account. Doesn’t make sense!! Crooked that’s double jeopardy when someone has an account with the bank not a good way to get business.

I moved to Gloucester Courthouse in 2020 and have never had any issues with this branch. Every Teller that has assisted me has been courteous and professional.

I am absolutely appalled by the racist tellers at this bank. My family has been with SunTrust/Crestar since before I was born and my mother went to deposit cash for her business and every time she is being accused of presenting fraudulent bills. DO NOT go to this bank

Recently had my best experience ever at a bank all thanks to Michelle Hughes! She is an outstanding employee that delivers unparalleled hospitality at every front. From my 10 minute interaction with Michelle, she managed to make my day and bring a wealth of knowledge. Now this is banking!

The merger I have ever dealt with. Hopefully now any Teller can wait on you. Couldn't understand how I had to wait for a Sun Trust teller because BB&T Teller apparently could not do my transaction.

My husband and I have been using this bank for 5+years, he goes to deposit his check today and is in line before they close(at 6pm). He didn’t reach the window until 6:01 though he was in line before they closed and the workers dropped the blinds and turned the closed light on knowing he was still there. One of the women lifted the blind and he asked if it was too late to deposit his check and she said “actually yeah”. He was the last car in line and he was there before they closed, the fact that it was literally one minute past 6 when he reached the window and they wouldn’t assist him is ridiculous and the way she responded was just rude. These are hard times for everyone, a little courtesy goes a long way.

So now that SunTrust has merged with bbt this branch is garbage. Always a 15 min wait. I assumed it would get better with time. Nope. Will be closing my account and moving to a bank that actually cares about customer service.

Ever since truist came to be I can't stand my banking app. It never wants to work says unabliable all the time now. Can't quick view anything. Garbage. Will be switch banks soon. Tired of suntrust merging with other banks.
