“The vet/animal hospital I usually use has switched to a Pet Wellness Center and no longer sees sick animals, so when my cat got sick, I had to find someone to see him quickly. He hadn't eaten for 2 days, was weak and lethargic. When I called Ridgewood Animal Hospital, they listened to what was going on with my cat and worked him in that afternoon. They were very professional and the level of care they gave Oreo was top notch! I am so thankful for them and the kindness and compassion they have for animals and also how they treated him - they were so gentle. I am also thankful for the compassion shown to me as I was freaking out a little, thinking I may have to have him put down since he is older. All of the staff was amazing, and I am happy to say that I noticed a difference in Oreo within 2 days of his visit. The vet even called to check on him after a few days! I love them!”

“Compassionate, FOCUSED, staff! I have had several canines, with care at VCA. Dr. McConnell was absolutely wonderful with all of my senior pets, and once came over to my house, when my 19 year old friend was leaving us - she and a staff member with her, were amazing. They took him to the hospital for cremation, as I was so upset - very grateful. Now, I have a rescue, 4 years old, he is a patient. Ear issues and allergies, which Dr. McConnell is treating, with great improvement!My experience over the years, has been very positive.”

“none of the other hospitals would take me in this week and told me that there would be at least a month in advance for an appointment. I called Ridgewood animal Hospital and they booked me right away. The receptionist was super sweet as well as the workers there. there is an area for cats that is a waiting room in an area for dogs so that is pretty nice. Very spacious as well. the workers as well as the people at the front desk were super sweet. i didn't have any problems. as well as the vet was very informative and helped me right away. gave me examples for my understanding. Thank you. 10/10 would come again”
“Dr Watkins is the absolute best!! And while they may get busy at the front desk and its hard for people to understand that they are not the only one in the building during scary times!! They all deserve our patience and grace !! The job they do is so important !! My family has been using BAH for 28 yrs!!! Our family farm is 1.5 hrs away and we still travel to Bedford for vet care from routines to emergencies ? won't go anywhere else !!!”

“My cat Elvis is doing poorly. He is 17 years old and I took him to the vet on Wednesday the 29th of October. Doctor Joseph Harper and his assistance were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Harper has wonderful bedside manner, explaining every step of the way and came in frequently To explain things while they had my cat in the back to do tests. I really appreciated his open honesty, and suggestions for treatment or to withhold treatment. I think Riverside is a wonderful clinic. I highly recommend it.”
