“This review is based solely on the product line and my results that have helped my 18 year old gelding. We started with the Locomotion, Empower EQ (hemp oil) and the Chia Seeds. My vets goal was to help his feet, gain weight and minimize insulin resistance and reduce and inflammation that may exist. We’re new to the product line. However, so far, he’s more energetic, an amazing shine to his cost and he’s more positive. We will update this as we go along.
Our negative interaction wasn’t with BioStar per say, but one of its sponsored team rider reps. We solicited locally to board with at Liberty Farm with trainer Katrin Derreumaux. We toured and talked. She didn’t seem welcoming, I was told that “she had to ride/train” this horse despite having a firm appointment time that was set prior. I was shown the grain room, I asked about the feeding protocol and her view. Despite seeing BioStar containers, she did not discuss their products or grain or feeding regimen only to say, each horse has a custom mix. It was a very negative experience for a team athlete to not promote a product that they are sponsored on.”
