This team of ladies not only understood the plight of a black girls hair journey, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure my experience was pleasant. They did my test on a Wed, even thought testing of this type is only on M-T. They had to cut my loc and baby, the young tech with hair like mine…REATTACHED IT FOR ME! Though that is not her job, or standard practice when that tear fell from my face JESSICA went beyond her RN role and HELPED ME! I will refer this place over many others where nothing is personal and everything is about a number and a bottom line! Quality DiagnoSTICS MADE MY DAY!”
“To start with; after a bad experience years ago I swore I’d never go back here.
Today; arrived at 6:45am and about 7 people were in line. No problem. Understand. I’m in no hurry. Door opens at 0700 sharp and was greeted by a Nice Lady; used the Kiosk to Check in, sat down and was promptly called up in less than 5 minutes. The usual Card Scan and was told to have a seat and they would be with me shortly. 10 minutes later I get called back and the Super Sweet Lab Tech with a Great Attitude and Personality went right to work, took Blood without my hardly knowing she had put the needle in and was home by 0745!!

“I use this location every 3 months for my Function Health blood draw which usually involves 10 to 20 tubes drawn. They run on time every time I go. Check in is automated and easy. The lab tech who draws my blood is very kind and friendly and excellent at what she does. I should know her name but I'm terrible with names. I would highly recommend this Newport News location and Quest Labs for lab testing.”
