“The Victory YMCA is always ready to greet you in the morning. There are tables and group activities for those that want to make friends. However, there are machines where you can work out alone. The bathrooms have been redone. It is a great place to work out.”
“The Garden of Children is honestly the one and only place I feel at peace dropping my daughter off while I go to work. I’ve seen more improvement in my daughter than I have at actual school! They go above and beyond to incorporate play and learning! They truly do learn, grow and play here! 100% recommend!”
“The Peninsula Academy was an amazing preschool experience for our granddaughter, who is now 8 years old and still has friends from her time there! She loved going each day, and we always felt confident she was in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Melissa and the staff truly have a heart for children, and it shows in the care and attention they give. Our granddaughter was greeted by name every morning and sent off with happy goodbyes—they truly know and care about each child. We also appreciated the fun themes and celebrations throughout the year, as well as the strong safety protocols. The transition to the app was great—it kept us connected with updates and photos. We will always treasure our time there and highly recommend this wonderful preschool in Yorktown!”

“My children attended this school for almost 2 years! The staff is professional yet loving like auntie, they were so clean and patient with my son , my daughter is 2 and has learned so much ,sign language and all of her alphabet the school is the perfect size for little ones getting ready for school ; also they’re actual EDUCATORS my kids are smarter at 2 my daughter can count to 20! Knows her alphabet my son 3 can recognize and identify the alphabet not in order ANY letter he’s right on track for reading ?✅, my kids HAD to go to another school but im crying over how much i willl truly miss this staff I love these ladies when i was afraid to leave my kids they sent me pictures video the respond to EVERY message , thank you for your dedication it did not go unnoticed ?”

“My daughter has been here for about a month now. It’s was a difficult transition from being at home to going to daycare but the staff helped us transition over effortlessly. My admiration to Ms.Tina in toddlers 2 because she always has the time to get my daughter from our crying arms and soothes her. My daughter is glued to her hip and Ms. Tina is so patient and kind and so are the other teachers in the classroom they are all so kind and caring for our kids. “My child started this year and the staff are all great. They drop off and pick at many of the local elementary schools. My son enjoys going there for before and after school and I've decided to enrolled my other son so they both will be going there for the summer. I only wish they had an app for messaging and payments which would more convenient for me. They have a lovely environment for children.”
