“Had to go to the lab when I was done with my daughter and I decided to have lunch they have a little cafe inside we both got steak n cheese with fries it was really tasty and we sat outside the weather was beautiful. Their free wine tastings every Friday and Saturday are one of my favorite things - they make it so easy and fun to try new wines and discover bottles I never would’ve picked up on my own. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable without ever being pushy, and they always have great recommendations at different price points.
The shop is well-organized, welcoming, and has a fantastic selection. Stopping by during a weekend tasting is the best way to figure out what you’ll actually enjoy drinking at home, and they make it super easy to grab a bottle of whatever you liked. Highly recommend for wine lovers, casual sippers, and anyone looking to explore new wines!”

“I came in for Thanksgiving wine shopping and had the most excellent service. I was trying to decide on wines to buy and Chris, one of the staff members, came over and offered to help. He was amazing in listening to what I needed and the price point that I was comfortable with and then efficiently guided me around the store, offering options that would pair with our food. Chris also suggested wines that would work with the store coupons, which was wonderfully helpful as well. All of the wines that Chris selected were a huge hit and they were also varietals that I would not have selected. It was such a treat to try new wines! I am so grateful for Total Wine and More - this location has been consistently providing incredible customer service for years now and I can't wait to stock up for the holidays!”

“This restaurant is quaint and filled with quirky French country decor in a cute venue outside of Occoquan, VA. I've been twice this year now, and both times it was full and lively, bordering on loud, but not what I'd call crowded or too loud to carry on conversation.
The food was excellent, with each person in our parties raving about appetizers and enjoying their entrees. Desserts are all prepared excellently but classically (this is French country style, not trying for Michelin innovation, microgastronomy, or deconstructed dishes here). I'm getting hungry again just thinking about our meals as I write this.”

“i had the most impressive experience at the Sterling, VA store. I needed to return a product, and I had thrown away the receipt. Laura, had such incredible patience with my situation. She tried multiple ways of locating my credit card. I led her on a wild goose chase, thinking I had bought it in the store, and as it turns out, I bought it online! She did finally find the transaction on the credit card I used. Appreciate the fact that she was determined to help me return this item. Very customer service oriented! Thank you very much Laura.”
“My spouse and I have been clients since they opened the store over twenty years ago. First, the service is excellent, even when they get exceptionally busy, they work hard to interact with each customer. Their staff are wine and beer lovers themselves, therefore they are better prepared to assist in selecting a bottle of wine. Our visits to the store are more than ducking in to buy a bottle of wine, cheese, appetizers, soup, or a gift - it’s an experience. The folks there are more like family to us. Regular visits to the tastings (Thursday Night Open Bottle; Friday Night tastings, Saturday afternoon tastings, as well as past classes, and dinners) have allowed us to meet new people, make new friends, and hear some great wine stories. It’s a social experience for us. They are also family friendly including the doggos (the regular pups know about the treats).
You won’t find a Two Buck Chuck or Boone’s Farm Country Quencher (dating myself, I know), nor do they carry wines you can find next door at Giant, etc; they do try to meet clients at their price point. If you buy at one of the tastings they offer a discount on those wines. They also feature two craft beers every Friday night.
Another bonus to us is being able to support a local family owned business.”

“I had a great experience at Montgomery County Liquor & Wine in Downtown Rockville. I was looking for a bottle of Cynar I couldn’t find locally. A friendly staff member offered to help, he looked it up in the system, found it at the Aspen Hill location, called them for me, and gave me the address.
When I got to Aspen Hill, the woman at the register said, “I set your bottle aside — we’ve been expecting you.” That kind of thoughtful, above-and-beyond service is rare these days and really stood out.
Huge thanks to both locations — I’ll definitely be back!”

Very entertaining just to walk through and see everything, and the floor staff was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The cashier was a touch gruff, but that’s okay.”

“I moved here from AACO and I am not use to the beer, wine, and liquor being in separate places. I am so accustomed to going to one store for everything. I do like this place though, it's always well stocked and clean. They are always staffed well even like the day before a holiday and they are located in a good area with plenty of parking.”

“Today was my first visit to this store (I usually go to Grape Escape). I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! It was nothing fancy but a lovely little shop with pretty congruent prices VS other shops in the area. The attendant was extremely kind and helpful, Purchase was simple and he didn’t look at me like I was some sketchy teen buying for his younger siblings pool party (i’m in my mid 20’s) overall recommend for those looking for a quick bottle or can. Love that they sell soft drinks and snacks too! 10/10! ?”
