The Safeway in Geat Falls has dramatically raised its price these last few months, taking a shameful advantage of the inflation. 4 cookies for $7 at the pastry, for example. Ok, cookies are large, but nothing justifies $7 (and certainly not the ingredients!) Quality is not the reason either for such a pricing.Same thing for all other boxes of cookies or danish at the pastry. $6 to $7 for a box of 10 cheap items is a JOKE. It used to be $5 and it was acceptable. No more.They might think that people in Great Falls are rich wokes who do not give a damn about the prices. It is partly true but these people are looking for quality, which is not Safeway's best feature. The rest of the customers are midle class/low middle-class. The store is never crowded. I wonder why...The service (except for the notable exception of the pharmacist Nikoo) is -to say the least- not friendly, pretty useless and the employees untitled (to what??)

They have recently renovated the store. It is clean and easy to navigate. The staff are great. Special shout out to the pharmacist who is very kind and reassuring.

The meat department of this store exhibits profound problems; there is always the smell of bad meat wafting about the aisle and I have on multiple occasions purchased an item purportedly two days shy of its "sell by" date but upon opening the package the meat was rancid. The obviously have lapses in their procedure that need to be addressed.

Safeway and its pharmacy team have gone above and beyond to work with customers to find solutions. Safeway is open when other stores are not.

I think this Safeway is a great store. It's clean, close, and has everything you could need! Don't know why it gets a bad rap from other reviewers!

This Safeway is STILL awful. I can't believe they are renovating again instead of just closing down or burning it. All dairy items and produce need to be checked, They are all expired and rotten. I think the only way for this to end is to boycott this place. It's truly disgusting

This is the worst grocery store experience in the area in my opinion. Expired items in many areas. They are routinely out of many things. Latest trip had the entire produce section empty with nothing on the shelves.

This is a small store that probably can't expand, so it isn't comparable to some big stores, especially someone mentions Wegmans. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful, and you can buy basics and more there. The bakery has some good things, so does the seafood section. The produce is about average for a standard grocery, sometimes better. They have more organics these days, although the milks are rather pricey. The reviews are shockingly bad, and I am particular. Of course it could improve, and they are trying. As a local resident, I am glad we have it!
