The reason that I like the store is because I am a tall female it is hard for me to find pants that are long enough. But Ashley Stewart sell pants that are made for tall women.

I went to Ashley Stewart one week ago. I don't wear their clothes but I saw some earrings I liked. I went to the register to pay for them. Their were two women, one behind the counter and one behind me. Neither one of the women acknowledged me or would ring me up. I was totally ignored as they talked back and fourth to each other. After 3 minutes of standing there looking dumb, I kindly put the earrings back on the shelf and left the store. That's the price I pay for being tall slim and pretty with my real hair. They wish they had my life!!!!

The Portsmouth store put an item on hold for 24 hours Called back the next day before I drive 30 minutes & was told the items were put back One of the two shirts were no longer available One unhappy customer

I’ll start by saying I am very disappointed with my experience with this location. Here’s a some background information. I normally just shop at Torrid. A friend introduced me to the Ashley Stewart brand 03/17/22 we went to the Norfolk Virginia location and I absolutely loved and went wild. So, I decided to introduce a friend to the brand 03/20/22 just at a different location in Portsmouth Virginia, she went wild very so I picked up a pair of sunglasses for myself. Unfortunately when I got home and removed my sunglasses out the bag I noticed they were broken. So I checked my receipts and noticed that the Norfolk location did not put my military discount on my purchase. So I called the Portsmouth location first in total what happen with the glasses and they informed me that I can return at any location. Then I called the Norfolk location they said that I will be able to get adjusted at any location. I was like thank you appreciate it and I’ll be getting that done the following day which was yesterday 03/21/22 at the Hampton Virginia location since that’s the side of town I live on.03/21/22 I walked into the Hampton Virginia location and I fell in love it had more to offer me. I know once I handled my return and price adjustments I would shop. When I shop I send $$$$. I walked to the counter and explained everything to the cashier about the price adjustment and broken item. She in turned told me that she couldn’t make a return or price adjustment at her location (Hampton Virginia) because I didn’t make the purchases there. So I informed her I wasn’t told that but in fact I was told the opposite. She said it was policy at ALL the ASHLEY STEWART locations. So I asked her to show me that on my receipt and the policy. She declined and said I could call customer service for that information. So I looked over my receipt again and couldn’t find that information in the return section. So I walked out as I wasn’t calling customer service.I got in touch with a rep and she was very helpful and informed me that I was in fact CORRECT and the store associate was INCORRECT. She apologized and I accepted but informed her I wouldn’t ever shop at any of the locations again. So I walked back into the Hampton Virginia location and asked for the associate name and job title. She said her name was Tonya and she’s the assistant manager of the store. I thanked her and walked out as I shared her name with a rep.I don’t play about my money and transactions. Gas is way to high to drive 45 plus minutes in Virginia traffic to do what I needed to be done. You make ask why did I shop at the other locations that was far from me house. Here’s the answer. I was out with a friend in Norfolk at target and Ashley Stewart next door and she asked me to go inside with her and she ensured me I would like it. Then the next visit to Ashley Stewart’s happen to be in a shopping center we were in for my other friend. I ended up googling locations hoping one was close to me when I discovered that my glasses were broken and my military discount wasn’t applied. I was pleased to know there was til yesterday disappointment happened with the assistant manager Tonya. It was very embarrassing to experience especially more because there were other beautiful women in line waiting to be checked out.I can just imagine how many other women she has lied to and blamed it on being Ashley Stewart policy. When she’s using her title as assistant manager to make decisions, thinking no one would fact check the false information. she’s giving. I believe in mistakes but this definitely wasn’t a mistake. I think her position should be under review.I will be waiting for corporate to reach back out to me. Hopefully it’s before five days because I want to be within my 30 days. Next step will be contacting my bank and filing a dispute. My return and adjustment was declined by Tonya the assistant manager and her reason wasn’t policy so I was fully in my rights to return. No tags was removed from anything and I had both receipts and I had my bank statement pulled up for back up.
