Recently my husband transferred his prescriptions here on my advice since Rite Aid is closing. He takes 2 brand medications and not the generic form of it. When they filled the generic a couple of weeks ago I called and specified that he takes the brand for both. So last week I called in way ahead of time one of his mg’s so it would be ready as I know they need to order it. I was filling up his pill container and that reminded me that he needed the prescription so I called to see if the medication was ready and it was but it was the generic again. So I had to leave a message and when Becky called me back she repeatedly spoke over me and I think this was done to make the call as brief as possible because I’d mentioned in the message that I left that when I called before I’d told the person that I spoke to that he takes the brand for both his medications so that this wouldn’t happen. She said she’d order it and it may come in, I said ok and I made sure that she put in that he gets the brand so that wouldn’t happen again. Fast forward to today, Monday. I called, learned through the automated system that it was on order but left a message to find out the chances of it coming in today and what time. I also mentioned again from frustration that it wasn’t his fault that it wasn’t filled correctly and if they had even just once pill for today that would be great. Becky called me back and she said its on order if it comes in it comes, if it it doesn’t it doesn’t. Just like that. I was speechless honestly. I know that they must deal with a lot and get frustrated just as we do, however saying it like that says to me you don’t care at all if he gets his medication. I’m not asking for them to care exactly but to say it like that was just downright nasty and she knew it. I have the right to say you messed up and this was not his fault, because it was. I gave the information needed to make sure that this wouldn't happen and it did. So i said so on the message, it was just facts. I wasn’t nasty on the message or when she said if it does it does, if it doesn’t it doesn’t. My husband heard her and he’s going to hopefully get his prescription from them today and then switch his prescriptions to someone else. I am leaving this review because people need their attitudes put out publicly when they don’t know how to carry themselves with professionalism or deal with a stressful situation. Becky also felt the need to share that she has never seen anyone on the brand name of this medication. Well Becky the reason that he’s on the brand name is because 28 years ago when he started taking this medication his doctor gave him samples and they did that for a long time. For years to help him avoid the cost etc….so some people don’t find it easy to just switch to the generic. It could be a mental thing or whatever. It’s his choice. I’m his wife and I wanted him to switch long ago cause it causes me a lot of problems going through this, but it’s his choice. So you don’t need to share that no one else has been on it because thats not your business or mine. Becky at the end of the day if you cannot conduct yourself with at least a little professionalism or decorum with a voice thats not monotone maybe seek another position in life cause dealing with patients may just not be for you.

The Hampton location that I shop at could work a little better on keeping the aisles free to pass up and down. The pharmacy team members can be a little more friendly. And the drive thru is always busy. But, CVS as a whole have a wide variety of selections and AWESOME sales and savings.

If I could give no stars I would. The pharmacy is rude af. I arrived in the drive thru line at 1:10pm. There were 3 cars in front of me. I waited in line and when it was my turn to pull up to the window at 1:28p they didn’t even acknowledge me they just began rolling the window down in my face. I came in and asked to speak to the manager and she refused to speak with me. So unprofessional, I spoke with customer service and they will be having the district manager call me. I drove all the way from work in Norfolk over here to pick them up because I received a message through the app telling me they were ready. I will be posting reviews about the poor service I received on every platform and I will be pulling all of my prescriptions from CVS.

Had the worst experience at this CVS. This woman named Rebecca is the rudest person I have ever seen working with the public. When you call in on her, nothing happens

Dude literally walked away from behind the register as I came up to pay after having just helped someone else. Another lady also needed help at the self checkout and no one came. Stood there for a bit before just leaving.

The pharmacy said that the prescription would be ready for pickup. Went to window and they said it won't be ready for another 10 days. Bad information and my wasted time and gas.???

CVS 2315 W. Mercury Blvd. as a whole store seems to take pride in appearance and customer service. I wish I could say the same about the pharmacy. Now first let me say I don't, when I have a poor experience immediately rush to review. That would be unfair. And as most people who may need to go to the pharmacy, I wasn't feeling my best on Sunday 4/21/24 at 1:45 pm so again not the time to write a review. So arriving and not knowing that the pharmacy closed from 1:30-2:00 for lunch. I ask if they were closed for the day and found out I had a short wait. I said I'd wait and the pharmacist shouts across the space, Who are you? I gave my name "It will be ready!"and I took a seat. When the window was opened at 2:15. I joined the queue that had formed and when I got to the counter gave my name and pickup of 1 and offered my ID and insurance card. The young man waved it away not saying anything rang up the prescription and announced a price. I explained my insurance had no copay. He said nothing but raised his hands as if I were an inconvenience and he couldn't be bothered then waved me to another man at another computer screen. I approached him explaining and offering him my ID and insurance card. His response was "Well you have no insurance in the system!" How was I to know that this information was not shared from Patient First who had all of my information and had called in the prescription. Or that I in some manner should have contacted the pharmacy prior to having the medication called in, to enter my insurance information.
I was rudely told to sit down, this has to be reprocessed and repackaged it will take a little while.
When the prescription was finally ready 20 minutes later. Another young lady called my name and I went to the counter. She was also very short, and dismissive. Not so much as have a good day. Attitude is mirrored if the lead pharmacist had led with a good attitude and good customer service skills, those working under him would likely have had better customer service skills. Nothing would bring me back to deal with these rude people.

I understand needing to go to lunch. Everyone deserves a break. However, to just completely shut down while you have people in line waiting is kind of rude. Especially when they’ve already been in the line over 15mins.
