When I first started using this pharmacy it was nice I would have given them a 5 star rating the last few times that I've used them it seems as if i would have to go to the Kroger in Yorktown or have to wait until its done and the prices are a little more expensive than what was stated before.

WORST bakery in Hampton Roads. Stay Away! They WILL cancel your order on the day you are supposed to pick it up! They have done this to me not once but twice. Their management is pure trash !

Apparently it is Krogers policy to withhold medication from patients. Patient's will go days without medication altogether or receive partial refills due to under stock. If your medication was a partial fill they can withhold the rest of your prescription at their discretion. They will tell you that you have enough medication, not taking into consideration that patients have obligations to fulfill outside of their policy. For example if you have to go across state lines or out of the country and run out of medication, that's apparently your fault. The pharmacist is supposed to do the outsourcing not the patients. The patient is accused of trying to pick up a prescription too early when you're only trying to reconcile the rest of the original authorized prescription. They wrote the prescription in as a refill when it should be a partial fill, there is a big difference.I was told if you have a prescription for Adderall or oxycontin but could only do a partial refill for these medications, you will lose whatever was not filled by their policy. I was floored for those who are taking these medications. Also if your medication is less than a 30 day script, which is where I fall under, they have no obligation to fill the rest of your prescription either. I was told that I have enough for now and turned away. The pharmacy is supposed to honor what the doctor has prescribed, insurance has covered and what you paid for, not write bogus policies to save on costs. Policy does not mean law and this has nothing to do with our countries guidelines or legalities. Kroger has no business having a pharmaceutical license and should go back to being an expensive grocery store. These issues with their pharmacy have been ongoing for years and will keep happening if people stay silent. The only reason why I haven't jumped ship on this particular pharmacy is because they carry the form of generic medication I need. When I asked to see the policy I was told this policy isn't accessible to the public and only available to technicians. Kroger is running it's own scam and they've been sued for overfilling medication which has made them overzealous in refusing to fill what's been authorized. What happens to the rest of the patients prescription that can't be filled? Saving costs or theft? When so many patients have had the same complaints for years what is the staff doing besides staring at a screen?

If I could rate this place a 0, I would. The drive-thru window is NEVER opened.Today, September 8, I called here to inquire about a claim my insurance stated was submitted by Kroger. I spoke to a “Terra or Tiara” I hope it she was not the pharmacist because she wasn’t too pleasant. After I began asking questions she began to over talk me. I told her that my insurance said they ran a claim. She said they didn’t. The claim submitted were supplies that I don’t use. I asked her to please remove any prescriptions for those supplies, I use another vendor. Then I heard a click! She hung up on me??? Wow! I called back, “ did you hang up on me?” Her response was “No, I heard silence for 30 seconds.” NO, you didn’t LIAR! Not going back there! Never!

Let me just say that as far as food quality goes, I have no complaint. We ordered a large amount of fried chicken for an event and everyone agreed it was delicious. My complaint is this: I had to pay for it twice. When I realized I could not pay online for an online order, I went directly to the store where the young man at the deli counter was very polite. He verified my order (approximately $90) and gave me the invoice in triplicate, instructing me to pay at the regular cashier line. I did this, and the woman who took my payment assured me that all was now well. I assumed she had direct communication with the deli and that she must have scanned the invoice, so payment would directly show up for the deli. The reason I assumed this was because I asked her "What next?" and she said, "Nothing, just pick up your food at the scheduled time!" Having had received a confirmation email for the order, I believed there to be no problem. However on the day of the event, my son-in-law went to the Kroger deli with the invoice-in-triplicate mentioned earlier, and they said the order had been cancelled because I didn't pay. They said they had PROOF it hadn't been paid because the cashier would have removed one of the three copies of the invoice and given it back to them. With hungry guests waiting, I had no choice but to make a new order and wait 25 minutes for it to be filled, AND, of course pay again. I'm still upset about this, but I don't know what else I can do. I have the bank record which shows both purchases at Kroger, but of course doesn't say what it is for, so that is no help. From now on, I will always ask for receipts to be emailed or texted to me if that pops up for an option.

Do not shop here unless you want to be treated like a thief. They spend so much money on flawed technology monitoring you and falsely flagging you as a criminal that they are driving honest customers away. I don't steal. If you bring your own bags you are flagged as a thief every time you place an item in your bag. Even after the associate overrides the false flags multiple times and you pay for your items, they still flag you as a thief and lock the cart wheels at the front door. When you go back in the store to ask why and for the wheels to be unlocked the associates act like you are bothering them and tell you to just put all your groceries in another cart. Now you have to either drag a cart full of groceries across the parking lot in a cart with locked wheels or move all your bags to another cart. This, after spending over an hour in the store and hundreds of dollars. Today, I felt like returning everything I bought. I pay more to shop at Kroger to avoid foolishness like this. If this is the service I will receive at Kroger, I might as well shop at Walmart and save money.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!!I read the reviews before doing business here but I have used Krogers pharmacy in other states & had great results so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have never, ever, ever!, ran into this, and it’s t made absolutely NO sense what so ever. I had a script called in by my Dr for a controlled substance for #66 tablets. I picked up #28 tablets & had a refill for the remaking. I only picked up #28 because it’s expensive. I then came back & picked up another #28. So I came back to pick up the remaining #10 & was told their system was showing no refills. I am not a mathematician but 66 - 28 - 28 = 10 left. The pharmacist told me even though it was their mistake & she knew I was correct she still could not fix it. So being a Saturday & my only day off I was kinda screwed.Absolutely totally incompetent. Long time customer, extremely disappointed.Do yourself a favor & do not use this pharmacy, go somewhere else…

A sign advertising flu vaccines stating "walk-ins welcome" is right beside the register where I was told I could not receive a flu vaccine because they do not accept walk-ins, I had to make an appointment online.

If I could give them zero stars I would! This is by far one of thee worst pharmacies I have ever been to, they will let you stand there for 10 to 15 minutes before anyone says anything to you, then your stuff is NEVER ready even if it was processed the day before! Definitely not a great experience EVER!
