I shouldn't give this place a dam star at all she the so called manager or owner she was very rude to me today when I was trying to tell her what's going on but she wanted to have a lunch break so bad with her nasty attitude and she wanted to get smart and talk mess. I dont know why people like this have Businesses because they dont deserve it. TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED ! As soon as I came in her attitude was nasty talking about if you're not getting services then leave and thats what I did LEFT and will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN & I WILL TELL OTHERS DONT GO THERE! im tired of people having nasty ways and attitudes if you cant control your moods then dont start a business dont even work at that ! Yes there's bad days but when its all the time thats not a bad day thats how your heart is & I'll NEVER WANT TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE LIKE THAT! one thing about it tho YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!! I'll try to see if someone is over her because she needs a wake up call.

Love this place. It's peaceful. Never chaotic when I go. The lady in the office is so nice and sweet. The online pay is convenient and a person with memory issues I appreciate the reminder emails a lot. Best storage place I have used so far. My items are not damaged. No bugs. I do spray spider spray because of a fear but no issues. And it's affordable. They had the perfect size for what I needed.

The absolute worst experience I have had with a self-storage place in the Hampton/ Newport News area. How this location has 4.8 Stars, one will never know. The current rating of 4.8 Stars had to have come under a different management regime. The property manager at the King Street location is rarely on site. Their hours say that they are open from 9:00 to 3:00 however she takes a 2-hour lunch break, does not open promptly at 9:00 and closes early well before 3:00 p.m.. I arrived at 9:00 no one was in the office the door was closed and locked, I came back at 11:30 and she was out to lunch until 1:00 p.m. I came back at 2:25 p.m. the same day and the gate was already locked. Realistically she's probably here between 1-2 hours a day. When asked about the hours, the property manager replied this is a self-storage place. Well there are many other self-storage places in the Hampton Newport News area that have on-site personnel during the hours that the business says it is open for operation. Online it says they're open until 5:00 p.m. but from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. are the call center hours only. The best thing about this place is it very reasonable rates, aside from that it leaves a lot to be desired in the personnel, communication, customer service aspect of storing your personal items. Again, the pricing here is phenomenal, if you are ever lucky enough that the property manager is actually on site to set up your initial contract. You cannot do everything online, unlike some other storage places in the area so you have to actually find her on duty. Good luck, you'll need it.

Best experience with storage areas in 20 years. Low cost, 24 hour access, and convenient to eastern Hampton. I shouldn't name names, but Public Storage raised our rate by almost 50% and I couldn't get out soon enough. Qwikstor put me on a waiting list and offered a lower cost alternative within days. Office staff is superb!
