I had a prescription sent by my doctor on 18 August. The pharmacy sent me an email stating they needed a prior authorization so I reached out to my insurance and was told the authorization had already been given. I reached out to the pharmacy and was told that the medication was on backlog. The pharmacist gave no indication they were trying to get the medication in stock. Then the pharmacist proceeded to tell me it will cost me 75.00. I am aware how much the medication costs. Then the pharmacist tells me to call another pharmacy to get the medication. I don’t understand having to search other places for my medication. I thought the pharmacy would get it for me. I am a diabetic I was just trying to get the medication prescribed for me. The pharmacy has yet to reach to me. I still do not have the medication. Lack of help was surprising.

When I miss my delivery and I needed my heart meds asap the pharmacist sent a Uber eats driver to bring me my meds on a Saturday when they didn’t have to there delivery days are the weekdays so yes they really do care about your health and wellbeing they have a customer in me for life everyone deserves this type of care and courtesy thank you .

Izzy you are so great, I so much appreciate your kindness. I cannot remember the girl I spoke with also but she was absolutely wonderful as well. I had a very stressful, frustrating day and these two made it so much easier on me. They’re in the pharmacy department and I cannot stress how badly I needed my medication and these two came through.

I always get great customer service when I go there. The employees know me by name. They have gone out of their way to help fix problems for me. The most recent was this week when I need my child’s ADHD medication and they didn’t have enough and I really needed at least one day but being it is a controlled substance they went out of their way and made it work and I got my full subscription and the day was saved. Tht is the second time they have saved me. I can’t go anuwhere else and get that same kind of service.

I don't like to give negative reviews but sometimes it really has to be done! Was in pretty desperate need of a prescription. My doctors staff was suppose to send it to this Rite Aid, but he sent it somewhere else. Anyway, after conversations with him, he attempt to correct the mistake by speaking to the pharmacist with I arrived. So I arrived at Rite Aid Pharmacy and was greeted by a pharmacy tech. I explained my situation of having my prescription sent to the wrong place and my doctors plans to call the pharmacist to fill it. The tech relayed the message to the pharmacist, then who without even talking to me or even researching the situation, told the tech "we don't do that and he'll have to come back Monday (this was on Friday). Trying not to get upset, I just left and called my doctor. I explained the situation to my doctor and he called Rite Aid directly. A few minutes later he called me back and told me everything was good to go. So I drove back to the Rite Aid. On arrival, again they didn't know what I was talking about. My prescriptions was no ready. I explained the situation, the tech went and checked some other records, and then told me it would be ready in ten minutes. I returned ten minutes later and my prescription was finally ready. Seeing the frustration in my face, the Pharmacist ask, "oh that was you a few minutes ago?" I said "yes." She goes on to try and explain her "unfriendly" service prior and I just didn't want to hear it. I just grabbed my order and walked out. Secondly. The Rite Aide rewards program has by far has to be the worst program ever. I've been shopping at Rite Aid for years (maybe twice a month) and not once have I been able to use not one single rewards point for the program. And I have occurred a few. Know that the rewards on work on certain brands of products (mostly Rite-Aid), and on top of that, if you don't use the points in a month, you lose them. That's right, they do not carry over to the next month. Unless you shop at Rite-Aid daily (which I don't recommend, and use their products, the rewards program is worthless. Otherwise, the store is nicely stocked and freshly renovated. Customer service at the front is good, they always welcome you into their store. I usually have great service at the pharmacy but this just was not one of those days. Happy Yelping.

I went for a COVID test 12/28. Project baseline says my appointment for that day was missed so therefore I’m assuming my test got thrown away or misplaced. I now have to wait another week away from my child because I’m not sure of my status and of course they can’t answer questions about your results.
