I stayed at this hotel this past weekend for Accepted Students Weekend at HU. The hotel and rooms were just ok, not your typical Hilton. We did book a water front room & had a nice view. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly as there was hair in the floor & on the towels. Thankfully, we packed towels & bath cloths from home.My main issue is I accidentally left behind my buletooth headset for work. I called Monday morning around 8 & was told I needed to speak with housekeeping but they were not in yet. I called back around 10 & was transferred but no one answered. I tried again around 12ish. I was again transferred to housekeeping but no one answered no voice mail. I called again around 3 & was told they were gone for the day.I called again this morning around 9 and was told they were not there yet. I asked if they could have someone call me as I had made several attempts the day before. She said the supervisor of Housekeeping would call be back this morning. I never received a call back. I called this afternoon & was told they were gone for the day but they did find my headset. I wanted to have my cousin pick it up. She said they didn't have access to the lost & found area only housekeeping could retrieve so I had to wait until Wednesday. I explained I had been calling since yesterday morning & felt a manager should have access to lost & found. She put me on hold. A manager by the name of DeLana came back on the line & immediately said "Like she told you, ONLY housekeeping can unlock & they are gone for the day." I immediately cut her off to let her know I didn't appreciate her attitude & didn't know why SHE seemed frustrated. I told her I was the customer, I didn't have an attitude although I'd been calling since yesterday. I became frustrated & annoyed while speaking with her.I then asked for the GMs name. She didn't give me the name she put me on hold. Jennifer came back on the line & said they were calling housekeeping back in just unlock. She said she would call me back once they got the headset. A few minutes later she was calling me back to let me know they had the headset set at the front desk for pickup. The level of customer service at this location was ZERO in comparison to the $569 I spent to stay here for a weekend. The location is great, the rooms average but the customer service was terrible. The manager Delena definitely had a chip on her shoulder & displayed a condescending attitude.Shame on Hilton for allowing this property to carry their name but not their standards.

It's an old hotel that tries but can't make it. Rooms are old, smelly, furniture broken, and stains on the wallpaper. Bring your gun. This place is in the hood. I had police activity outside my window each night. I'm a Diamond Hilton member, and the amenities they offer are along the lines of credit at the restaurant. They screwed up my bill at checkout, and I had to make them sort it out on the morning of my departure. Would not stay here again. Embassy Suites are down the road and are a much better experience.

We've stayed here several times over the years, and during that time, the hotel has been bought and revamped several times. I think it's the best it's been in years. The location is great. Choose a room on the water. It's pretty and you may be able to see the sunset. The dining room and bar are set on the water, too. The decor is nice. Now there are lots of events happening in downtown Hampton and you can walk there from the hotel. There is a private club at the rooftop pool, it is also very nice. The bar is a little understaffed but the food and drink are very good!Rooms: Nice decor and the water view have great views.Nearby activities: Downtown shops and restaurants are very close. Miss Hampton cruise is at the hotel marina.Walkability: All downtown amenities are within walking distance.

Rude service. Messed up my checkout with charging me for parking when I never parked there. When questioned they said they automatically charge for parking. But they should have asked me before charging me, I only caught it after I looked at my bill. They also stated breakfast buffet started at 6am when going down several times to get breakfast it was not a buffet and I had to wait on someone to help me. Nobody was at the front, we heard giggling and talking from the back. We screamed a couple times asking if they were open from the front and inside their employee area, knowing they can hear us. They eventually came out after my coworker walked back there, asked what time they opened and they said 6. We said no you didn’t we’ve been waiting for 20 minutes here and nobody was out here. Then the server was rude after that. They are located near some restaurants, and the room was good. After the service I received I don’t recommend this hotel. I’ve never had an issue with any other hilton hotels.Walkability: Close to restaurants/bars

Absolutely horrible service. Ignored guests trying to get breakfast 45 minutes after they were supposed to open. Also, screwed up the billing for two of our guests and then tried to blame it on them.

Beware. The hotel is very dated & the only good aspects are the friendly staff & location. The 5th floor & rooms stink like old smoke & mildew to such an extent that your clothes begin to stink. The garage is broken (entrance & elevator) but they still charge you to park there. Not worth the price.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel about a month ago. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially a front desk person named Ant - he was super helpful. This place is also near good restaurants.

What can I say about this amazing hotel experience. Location was beautiful and overlooking the marina, made we feel at home and have so much peace of mind. First I have to thank Kanyie (I know I spelled her name wrong) and her MOD that was on duty, for their professionalism and friendliness as I checking into the hotel. Having someone to relate to you and understand your needs is a plus. They are a wonderful asset and exhibits the reputation of why the Hilton brand is top tier. Thank you ladies. The room was beautiful and breathe-taking. Bed was comfortable and the decor was beautiful. Overall, my experience there was nothing but superb and I definitely will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights for vacation, and I used to stay at this hotel for business. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee bar near the elevator was always stocked throughout the day and the grounds and hotel were clean and inviting. The check-in process took only 5 minutes. There was a slight smell of what appeared to be fresh carpet smell or cleaning solution coming out of the elevators on the 8th floor. We did book a water view and our room only had a partial water view to the left and pool roof top view this time. When I used to stay for business, I had full water view. The room was clean and modern, and the water pressure was good on the 8th floor. The only difference between my prior stays and this one we had to pay $10/day for parking in the parking garage. There was always plenty of room to park. The hotel is in a great walking location near local dining and there are plenty of things to do. I can only recommend this hotel due to staff, location, and customer service. Thank you for making us feel welcomed during our stay.
