I took my truck to Tune Up Plus for what should have been a simple tune-up. After running their diagnostic, they claimed I needed $2000 in repairs. They performed these repairs in a few hours and told me my car was ready for pickup. I drove the truck away, and at first, it seemed to be running fine.
However, after about 50 miles, the vehicle nearly broke down and left my pregnant fiancée stranded after she had just dropped the kids off. This was not only stressful but extremely dangerous.
We had the truck towed back to Tune Up Plus, where they then tried to charge me another $300 for new issues that mysteriously appeared on a second diagnostic. At that point, I completely lost trust and had the vehicle towed to a Ford dealership.
Ford confirmed what Tune Up Plus failed to disclose: the diagnostic showed that the truck needed a new timing chain, which is a major repair. Ford explained that this is the kind of job many small shops avoid due to its complexity. Instead of being honest, Tune Up Plus appears to have misled me and attempted to extract money for unrelated or minor repairs, knowing full well the real issue was significant.
This experience was unethical, unsafe, and dishonest.

Unreasonbly high prices for spark plugs and fluid flush they charged my wife $1500 Terrible service these guys lied to her face then to mine when I went there to find out why it was so expensive. They swear up and down they had to drop her engine just to change the spark plugs and that cost over $800 dollars. Then when I asked the did they flush the whole system they told me no that was only for her coolant line being flushed. How does a coolant flush cost 600 I would have understood if they flushed her whole system. These guys will take advantage of you any chance they get never send your wife's here alone. Beware stay away from this place.

I needed a bearing replacement on my F-150. I went to the dealership and got it diagnosed, but they wanted 1300 dollars. 1300 DOLLARS for a 350 dollar part and a 20 min repair, all before taxes too. Awful dealer.
I went straight over here to ask the same question. Not only did they have the part on hand, unlike the dealership, but they also wanted only 650..... A literal no brainer. Thank you!
