Well hello there! This Food Lion is located on Kecoughtan Road in Hampton, VA. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Food Lion? Meh." But let me tell you, this place is a game-changer. First, the location is unbeatable - it's just a quick stroll away from my humble abode. And once you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spotless store and some of the friendliest employees you'll ever encounter. They're always happy to lend a hand and answer any questions you may have. Now, let's get to the good stuff - the selections. This Food Lion is typically well-stocked, with everything you need and then some. And get this - they even have dedicated Asian and Hispanic sections so that you can find all your favorite goodies in one convenient spot. But wait, there's more! I highly recommend downloading the Food Lion app or checking out their website (foodlion.com) for even more deals and savings. And if you're ever in a pinch, give them a call at (757) 723-8802. The cherry on top? This location carries Primo Water, which is an absolute game-changer for me. I can confidently say that this Food Lion deserves a solid five-star rating in my book. So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to 3855 Kecoughtan Road and see for yourself!

I usually do not go to this establishment due to the panhandlers however; I was in line at this Foodlion on 9/02/2013. I happened to be between two black couples. Each of the couples had a full basket of groceries while I only had 6 items on the belt. While the couple in front of me were being checked out the cashier, a young black man, informed me he was closed and asked me to remove my 6 items and go to another line, which I did. While checking out of the new line I had to wait in, I happened to notice the cashier that sent me away, was happily checking out the couple that had been behind me. Go figure.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The employees in the deli have a terrible attitude-- hostile. Some cashiers seem to have the same attitude. I can understand if someone has a bad day but it's an ongoing problem. I had to quit shopping there. Too many other options for shopping than dealing with hostility for no apparent reason-- I would say that it's a racial thing but I can't think of any other reason.
