Great place for residents (no cost) to drop off big trash like mattresses and huge boxes of packing paper. Building materials (lumber, cabinets, etc) cannot be dropped off unless you are a contractor, and it costs money.

I take my trash and recycle there. Nice people. Professional. I wish it were open until 5 instead of 3.

Very easy safe and convenient to dump extra trash at the landfill. Nice turtle pond. Never had any issues with garbage pickup at our house either. They pick up recycling and yard waste and will even take old mattresses from the curb.
