Caught a 34" striper with a creek chub. Girlfriend caught one too. Hers was a tiny bit bigger than mine.

Now selling gas, but a little intermittently. The gas dock is fresh and in good condition. None of the floaters previously available are back.No food, but cold sodas.

Thomas is very nice, always willing to help and answer my questions. They are working hard to spruce the marina up and doing a very good job.

Thomas (not me, the owner) is a hard working man of many talents. He and his wife are very down to Earth and approachable people. I have my boat serviced regularly with them and have NEVER had an issue. In addition to engine maintenance and repairs… Thomas recently cleaned, repaired, and painted the hull of my 42 year old Chris Craft cabin cruiser. The before and after pics speak for themselves. Thomas is a very knowledgeable mechanic who is always eager to answer any questions that I have. Thank you Sir!

Thomas and his family have been wonderful! We brought our camper here and we know it’s in good hands. I highly recommend this establishment! Our camper has beautiful views of the lake and we are blessed that we came to Bay Rock Marina.

Thomas came out and serviced us at 2 am on a holiday weekend completely on the other side of the lake so that we could enjoy our weekend. Top notch service. We will forever use his services now. We highly recommend!

No services. Gas dock in very bad shape. Dock bumpers are now hardened rubber with nails sticking out. Scratched the gel coat on the boat. Despite the large sign stating services available and Google stating they were open, the snack bar, gas, restrooms were all closed. Marty Byrd needs to buy this place.

Horrible conditions!!! Do not leave your boat there, Thomas and his wife are impossible to get ahold of... It is not a running marina, restaurant or store. They do not provide the services they say they do.

I cannot say enough about the impeccable service I received here from Thomas. I bought my son a used jet boat as a graduation gift in May. Of course the very next day when I put it in the water, it wouldn’t run. I took the boat and dropped it off with Thomas in late June. Explaining we were coming to SML for vacation the following week and I really wanted my son to be able to use his gift. Thomas worked day and night to get it up and running only to find out there was more extensive damage to the engine once the boat was put in the water (water getting into the engine). At that point the engine needed to be rebuilt or replaced. Thomas felt as though with all the repairs needing to be done, the previous owner had to be aware. I explained I may take the seller to small claims court. Thomas offered to travel out of state to testify on my behalf. In lieu of inconveniencing him, I had him write a statement. Today, a couple of months later, I had my day in court and won! Thomas’s statement played a part in that and I am ever so grateful. I highly recommend him and even though he is two hours from my home, I will always go to him for any future service or repairs. It’s worth it when you find someone you can trust!

What Marina business is not open on the weekends? The business practices here are questionable and there are zero services available, sometimes not even bathrooms and definitely no gas. No point in even going to this place unless you want a junk yard to store your boat. Be mindful that the owners have little regard for the customers and do not care when things break. No longer a real business and the mechanic shop is just as sorry. Hoping for the day new owners take over and actually run the place.

Boat was left to fix trim malfunction and to service boat. Someone working there messed up the engine. Owner denied the fact that it was their responsibility about water in the engine now. We had taken the boat out on lake twice this summer before taking it to Bay Rock Marina. Then the owner threatened to call police when we came to pick up the boat, because he thought we weren't going to pay for the work that already been done. We paid our bill less $100 because he did not complete all the work we had asked for originally. DO NOT take your boat to Bay Rock Marina for any reason. If you do, you will regret it.
