“I had a great time living at Longview Oaks Apartment! I was there for almost 2 yrs and had it not been for issues at my workplace..I would have continued living there! The apartments are good size, worth the rent money and scenic views surrounding make living totally worth it! I have moved around a lot in USA and I must say the condition in which Longview Oaks apartments gave me the apartment as new, during move in, taking care of all nitty gritties I have never had that experience before ever. Special mention to Cary and Ray (maintainance guys) for always being there and prompt professional service anytime anything was needed. Daniel at the leasing office was great help too with any accomodations needing to be made! I miss everyone there a lot.. you all are amazing! thank you very much for everything.. if I ever come to Harrisonburg you will be my first choice hands down!”

“Heritage Haven is one of 6 sections that comprise VMRC. The apartments and buildings are very well maintained, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped with flower gardens, trees, walkways and benches. The interior public areas are exceptionally well decorated and comfortable. This is the easiest place I have ever lived, bar none. Anyone who lives here is very fortunate indeed. I certainly understand why there is a waiting list. The amenities are too numerous to list here, but they are exceptional. Lucky, lucky me!?”

“The Harrison is an affordable place to live as a student or young person trying to get back on their feet. Life here might vary from person to person, but the price will ultimately save you or your family some money. If you really need help with transferring, they can assist as long as there’s enough staff on hand. I can’t speak to everyone’s experience, but the general issues you’d have anywhere else are fairly outweighed by the amenities. Plus, you’re able to sublet. There aren’t many other places to live like this in Harrisonburg.”

“This is a relatively newly renovated apartment complex and my daughter lived here for several years while going to James Madison University. All in all great experience, not too pricey, and well maintained as far as her apartment was concerned. They have a gym and a lot of coffeex food, bike shops, and other student friendly stores close by. It's also a very convenient location to both downtown and to the JMU campus (around a 15-20 min walk to center of campus). The biggest problem is with visitor parking,... basically there is none. The only actually marked visor parking spaces are on a side street & are 15-30 minute spots for unloading only. For anything longer term you basically roll the dice hoping that wherever you park you don't get towed. The Matchbox rental agency that runs this place needs to figure out some agreements with the business in the area because this is a real problem.”

“I think this apartment complex has fantastic amount of space compared to most other one-bedroom apartments. The only thing that disappoints me though is that they only have six one bedroom apartments and all the others are two and three bedroom apartments and you cannot use Section 8 housing in two or three bedroom apartment unless you have children.”

“Tim was amazing on Saturday -came right away when the upstairs neighbor had water flowing out of the vent in the bathroom. Fixed it right away. Then went the flipped bracker spit fire at me when I went to reset it, he came and repaired it in a very timely manner. Thank you very much Tim!”
