My car broke down coming from out of town. I had it towed here and Rawand was knowledgeable, honest, and very kind. He evaluated my car and confirmed it was a major repair. He suggested I check if it was still under warranty and provided honest advice. If I’m ever in Harrisonburg and in need of car service, Barr Auto will be my first choice!

Barr Auto is hands-down one of the best auto shops I’ve ever been to. The service is consistently fast, the prices are fair, and the quality of work is excellent. Rawand is incredibly dependable and honest — he never tries to upsell or push unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Barr Auto to anyone looking for reliable, straightforward automotive service.

Doffucult to get a slot sometimes, Went in for a headlight replacement which they did on the spot and had returned later with a faulty brake light switch which was repaired. Prices are veey reasonable and service is fast and great! Will continue to bring my car here.

Rawand is stand up dude. Upon meeting him for the first time at his shop I asked for a ride to my vehicle and without hesitation he told me to jump in his car and off we went. After he examined my vehicle he recommended against a very expensive repair the other shop quoted. He diagnosed a few things and spent considerable time on them then charged me much less than I expected. I haven't felt such genuine honesty from a mechanic in a very long time and will be exclusively using him for all my automotive issues.
