Today I worked with Sibia on a whole list of questions I had. She was SO kind and supremely helpful!! Oftentimes banks (Truist included) are full of people who are hard to work with. This branch in Harrisonburg is great though and I really appreciated Sibia’s help.

Truist is by far the worst….. if I had a chance to give them zero I would.They will still deposit my fiancé checks into his mother account even though he doesn’t have access to anything until she dies.They take to long to deposit checks. If you deposit a check on Saturday, you won’t get it until Tuesday.Money randomly goes missing and there app does not give an accurate report of what transactions happened when and where. They will charge you!I used to be able to cash my fiancé check on the daily, but today he tried to cash mine because we share an account. I wrote all the requirements “pay to the order of _____” then signed it. All he should have had to do was sign it and cash it. But according to some new policy that they made no one aware of the person on the check has to be present even though I signed the check over to him!WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AS SOON AS HOLIDAY IS OVER!Will keep my money in a pillow case before I give them another dime!

I was in pursuit of a loan for our business and was directed to Tammy at this branch for a possible commercial real estate loan. I sent over the original documents that were requested, and later received an email with loan terms outlined as "what Truist can offer".I let her know I was interested in pursuing this offer. After what has now been 2 additional weeks of going back and forth giving them additional information, I was informed this morning that they are not currently accepting applications for this type of loan.To be clear, I knew going in that we were not a good candidate for the loan on paper, and I would have had no issue with the loan being turned down (although, turn me down before making me an offer!). What I have issue with is being offered loan terms only to then have that offer rescinded, and wasting 3+ weeks of time putting together what was requested for a loan that was not even something they were accepting applications on? Completely unprofessional and utterly confusing.

Pretty pathetic bank -ATM is usually out of service , stupid maintenance fee, and other eats this bank steals your money. Bank of America is much better and I should go to Bank of America

Staff are doing their best but the finances are just terrible.. it takes days for each transaction to even show on your end! Never again!!!

Horrible bank to have your accounts ... One day you have money and after a couple of hours your money disappears without a trace or evidence of any credit or debit ... Whoever (HUB) does the work for this bank to balance the clients' accounts is doing a terrible job ... They are playing with people's money ... and they even change the dates of when transactions are made like that they can charge your account with overdraft and all that... It was a Very FRUSTRATING Experience having my accounts( more than one account) in this bank, and unfortunately the people who do customer service in these banks of BB&T or Suntrust do not really know what is happening with customer accounts, They don’t really have a good answer to explain what is happening... I think these situations are more noticeable after BB&T and Suntrust joined as Truist... And let it be clear, I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS with this bank, other relatives and friends also changed banks due to the same problems and the same frustration ... KEEP YOUR SELF AWAY FROM BB&T, SUNTRUST (aca)TRUIST if you really want to know where your money is going ...I WOULD GIVE ZERO ⭐️ BUT THE SYSTEM DONT LET ME.

I've been banking with BB&T for for a very long time...The staff is friendly most of the time but I'm very irritated by the fact “they can't do anything†about their ATM machine constantly malfunctioning. Three times out of ten their ATM eats my money while I'm trying to deposit cash. I contact their corporate number as soon as it happens to report the issue and they assure me I'll have my money within 3-5 days. Unfortunately, that's NEVER the case. After five days, I call my local branch and they tell me “give it another couple of days†and “I'm sorry, we can't do anything about it.†Well, currently, I've been waiting for almost two weeks and my account still hasn't been reimbursed. I've been a loyal costumer to them for years and I wish they would take this recurring issue more seriously.
