Went their about a couple days ago it was horrible some lady named Paige was just trying to rush us the whole time we were buying the car and then when I wasent able to pay for it she humiliated me infront of the whole shop it was so embarrassing

I have heard great things about Carmax, so called and spoke with a Carmax rep on the phone and he said to bring my vehicle down at anytime. I ride 30 minutes to the Harrisonburg location and the guy tells me they don’t have time. This was about 6pm and they don’t close until 8pm. Waste of time!

It was a wonderful experience. When I found my vehicle, it needed to be shipped. An easy task. When the vehicle arrived, arrangements were made to help me get there. It was waiting for me. Everything was ready. Everyone there seemed excited for me. They all made an effort to make my experience top-notch.

I am a truck driver. I came here to load cars. I can confidently say that this is the best CarMax I know. The guys who work there do their job very well and are very friendly. Was impressed with their auto selection, no hassle shopping. Since sales staff is not on commission, got to walk around lot and open and sit in any car we wanted to with no one following us. Found mileage on most pretty high for the price so didn't buy here. But great experience never the less

It was very easy to find, filter, choose, and transfer my vehicle on the CarMax website. They shipped the car within a few days for free so I could test drive it. The 2022 Rav4 was in pristine condition, and I am very happy with my purchase.
The staff at the Harrisonburg store were very friendly and helpful every step of the way. I hadn't bought a car in 15 years, and it's so much easier now, especially with not needing to haggle. That's the main reason we chose CarMax, but it was a great experience all around.

Easiest process I have ever experienced when purchasing a car. If you have all of your information, insurance, proof of income etc and a budget.... that makes for a smooth sailing.

We submitted an online request to sell our car to Carmax. That process was seamless, easy to follow and reasonable quick to complete. Carmax returned an online quote / offer for the purchase of our car which was also very quick. Then we went into the Carmax dealership to complete the process. They were very professional, courteous and efficient in validating the information we had provided online, performed a test drive of the car and then processed the paperwork for the sale. Very easy, straightforward, no hassles. Loved the experience and speed in which this whole process was completed.

CarMax in general and the staff in Harrisonburg specifically gave me a very good, red carpet experience. These folks are experienced automotive experts and very customer focused and they truly understand the warp and woof of car buying. Don’t be afraid to come in and do business here.
