On Saturday March 15th my friend and I visited the store at the Valley Mall. We were greeted upon entering the store and asked if we needed help. I asked if they carried any products with NAD. A female came over and stated the product didn’t sell well but the store just started carrying the product again. She then stated I should buy it if was on the shelf but didn’t seem to know much about the product. I decided not to purchase. Then I asked about Vitamin K. The female then stated she was off and told a male to assist me. He seemed frustrated but came over. He told me the Vitamins were listed on the shelf. I asked if he knew what Vitamin K was for and what were the benefits. He then huffed and told me I could get that information from reading the back of the bottle. He had already started walking away. It was obvious to me the male was more interested in having a conversation with the associate that was supposedly off the clock but still on the floor than doing his job! We left the store immediately. Associates who work in health stores should know the products they are selling and should have customer service training. The male was unfriendly, unprofessional and RUDE!

Love shopping at GNC in Harrisonburg and the staff is always friendly! I wish this store was in a strip mall or a stand alone location instead of inside the mall. The space and access is limited because of it!

Be aware.
Their cod liver oil, according to another review here (That I didn't see until after I purchased) says it's only 2% cod liver meaning it's probably synthetic which means you shouldn't take it pregnant because synthetic vitamin A is documented to cause birth defects.

Why do you have hours on your site, yet you’re not open? Website says 12pm for Sunday, yet the associate stated that they don’t open til 12:30pm. Please fix the hours…..

Average. Always feel like I'm going in for a used car b/c of how hard they push products... Honestly, can't stand that type of approach so it literally keeps me out of the door.If you are going to buy anything here, wait till it's on sale. They are usually 15 to 20 over Amazon or another website for most of their "high tier" products.

Check your receipt before you leave.Store was alright. Salesman said he was giving me a "free" small supplement (carnatine) because I'd bought a large one. Didn't check my receipt til after I was home though and saw that he had charged me for that "free" supplement. :(
