“I wish I could remember all the wonderful things that have happened at Burn since I signed up for the 4 week trial in January. I’ve never been someone who worked out. I loathed it and felt defeated every time I joined a gym. I signed up for BeachBody and I even worked with a personal trainer via zoom during the pandemic. I abandoned those ideas quickly and gave up on the idea that I’d find a good fit. I have a 3&5 year old and assumed I’d just wait until they were older before I could focus on time for myself. I was so wrong. The child watch that’s available is amazing and makes attending Burn possible. My kids beg to come to the “gym” with me and they look forward to it almost as much as I do.Burn is one of the most inclusive, supportive, kind and attentive places I’ve ever been to. I’m coming 5 days a week and I drive over 30 minutes to come.The trainers are amazing. Hannah has come and gotten a knot out of my shoulder so I could finish a set. Kelly showed me how to correctly finish a set of lifts that I just couldn’t figure out. Marcellus challenges me and roots me on. Everyone else cheers for me, loves my kids and goes out of their way to welcome me and my kids everyday.I cannot recommend this enough.”

“Steph has made CrossFit Harrisonburg your one-stop-shop for all things health. They have a workout program for everyone: crossfit classes, Olympic lifting classes, yoga classes, boot camp classes, individual coaching, etc. Need help with your nutrition? They've got that too, with several nutrition coaches to choose from. Need supplements? Don't worry, Steph's got you. Want a measurement of your body fat? Duh, they can help with that. Literally, anything you may need in terms of health is here. Just talk to Steph.I've been here for a little over a year and can't say enough great things about it. If you've been on the fence because you feel that CrossFit is too intimidating, I promise it's not. The second you walk in, people are gonna talk to you (not me cause I'm shy but SOMEONE will), and when you don't show up to class, they're gonna ask about you. They have options to scale workouts that you can't quite get yet (I scale multiple per week, it's no biggie) and the intro with Steph is free so like, what do you have to lose here?”

I left my first time satisfied with a great workout while retaining enough energy to chase my kids! It’s a beautiful combo of rowing, treadmill and weights. Highly recommend!”

“I was down here in Harrisburg VA for work and the gym I go to doesn't have a franchise in this area. Being away for a week I really wanted to get in a workout. After reading reviews from different gyms in the area I decided to give this place a try. My experience was an A+. This gym has a lot of machines, and was not packed like my gym in the afternoon/evening. The staff were great, and I was able to get my workout in no issues. Members here were very respectful as well. Anytime I'm working in the area this would easily be the gym away from home.Such a great experience.”

“I really love this gym, I was going to another gym but had no motivation to go, but at Harrisonburg Family Fitness I get really pumped to go. I can tell they really care and they always make themselves available if I have questions or need help with the equipment.It is quite a bit more than what I was paying, but not unreasonable, they have options for everyone and tons of amenities.”

“Eastern Mennonite University is affiliated with Mennonite Church USA and was founded in 1917. I graduated from this fine university in 1983 and have appreciated my education every day since then. EMU is a private liberal arts university. Per the school's website their mission is to prepare students to serve and lead in a global context. "Our community of learning integrates Christian faith, academic rigor, artistic creation and reflective practice informed by the liberal arts, interdisciplinary engagement, and cross-cultural encounter." A couple weeks ago I was blessed to witness my nephew graduate here. It was a cold and windy Sunday but the campus was still beautiful and commencement was held under a huge tent with multiple HD screens and speakers so everyone had a good seat. The experience went smoothly, it was well planned and organized every step of the way. Even the parking was easy. I was able to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in many years so that was a big bonus. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and seminary degrees to students of diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Anyone is welcome.”

“Great place to work out at. I enjoy the atmosphere. Motivation is constantly around you though they do overcharge or taxing you for everything. They do lack at a steam room but thats my personal preference, but they do have a sauna. Overall people mine there business and get s*** done. Wouldn't trade it for the world”
