Did two drop in classes over Christmas....very friendly, knowledgeable coaches and everyone made me feel like I was at my own gym back home. Will go back again for sure.

Dropped in a couple times during JMU Family Weekend. Great box! Felt totally comfortable and learned some new stuff from the coaches. Both coaches were great. Good group of athletes that I enjoyed working out with. Look forward to dropping in again next trip to Harrisonburg!

Rocktown is the best gym: full of friendly and welcoming people, awesome coaches, and lots of support to help you reach your goals. The personal training and group classes are great, and the staff really cares about you getting results. Clean and professional- HIGHLY recommend!!

I always visit this gym when I am in town. Love the people here, coaches are very knowledgeable and I have always enjoyed there workouts. I’ve worked out there probably a dozen times over the past few years.

Loved dropping into this box.I bought a really cool hoodie too!Located centrally in the middle of town so you can get all your groceries and shopping done after or before your workout.Coaches are experienced and the community is fantastic. I may be joining soon.

I have been a member of Rocktown for two years. The coaches are knowledgeable and can change any movement for your skill level or around any injury. CrossFit is for EVERYONE!! Our programming is top notched. We are a tribe. Rocktown makes you better!

I started going to Rocktown towards the end of January 2021. The coaches have all been super welcoming and the atmosphere is definitely a positive one! I truly look forward to my workouts and all of the members are very friendly and encouraging.

Rocktown is an awesome gym but honestly the coaches and members are what set it apart from other places. There is a fun competitive aspect but the bottom line is that everyone truly wants success for you. There is never a shortage of encouragement, fist bumps or tips to help you get something new. The coaches are knowledgeable and push you to your limit daily and on a good day maybe even a little bit past it. It is a constant change as far as programming so there is no way to get board. I always say it sucks but just for a little bit. Seriously, I could go workout on my own for an hour+ and not accomplish what I can here in 20 minutes once that clock starts.

I call this place home. I joined in February of 2020 after swearing I would never do CrossFit. This was the best “out of my comfort zone” choice that I have ever made. Rocktown is not just a gym. It’s impossible to show up and just do a workout and leave. It’s community. It’s a ton of fist bumps and “GO TEAM!” and pushing each other to be the best version of ourselves. Nate and Lauren and all the other coaches put so much effort and love and genuine CARE into this gym and it’s members and the community that surrounds it speaks mountains for that. Stop telling yourself you can’t....you CAN. Join us!
