Lady gave me an attitude and a $40 storage fee for a small box, for a week, is ridiculous. If that’s the case I should be rich off of the junk I have stored in my house. Will take my business to FedEx in the future, polite employees over there.

I returned an item to the UPS store located at 1866 E Market St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 at 0930 on 5/21/2025. The employee, who was not wearing a name tag, was obviously irritated that I do not have return code available when I came in. As I searched for the code in my email, she asked me several questions, and I attempted to provide responses while searching for code. However, she raised her voice, indicating apparent irritation. “One code for both items?” I didn’t understand. That’s when she acted as if I couldn’t hear! I politely requested a moment to locate the code, suggesting she attend to the customer behind me. I found her demeanor to be unprofessional and rude. In the future, I will opt to visit a different location. Notably, I have had a similar experience with the same employee on a previous occasion, which suggests a lack of customer-oriented service.

Would leave zero stars if possible. Went in with an item to be packaged and shipped with prepaid label and account. Lady working was rude and dismissive. I left with out shipping tbe item.

The customer service here needs help. They atmosphere is rushed and they are snapy with their words. Makes me feel like it was my problem for coming here to ship a package. I highly recommend the other UPS location in Harrisonburg.

I purchased Christmas gifts for family and friends while in Europe that I brought back in carryon luggage as most of the items were fragile. I decided to use UPS’s packaging service. I had five boxes with different types of gifts. While all gifts made it without breaking, the UPS worker mixed up the labels for two packages. These were to different states and I discovered the error when one recipient, who opened the package upon arrival, sent a picture of the family with the wrong gifts.
I paid an extra $150 for the packaging materials and labor only to have the employee mix up the gifts. The recipients are in different states and don’t know each other so an exchange won’t be happening.
I will never use this location again because this was just sloppy work. She took everything to the back area so I couldn’t monitor what she did.
My response to the owner:
I took up groups of items for each box. She took them to the back. I told her which group was with each address. She did take back more than one group of items at a time. I had five boxes. It’s not like I could see in the box that she brought out so I trusted that she put them together correctly.

Lynn needs to get fired! She was rude for NO reason. I can tell by other comments this is a pattern for her. Shame on you guys for keeping her employed here.

I will never waste my time at this store. Lynn, the old lady with dark short hair, is rude, condescending and overall provides a poor service to customers. She notorized two pages for me, by making me cross my name out it voided all legally binding contract, she knew this. Every notary knows this including the one at Truist after reaching out to them to understand the notary training and process since Lynn swore she’s done this for 20+ years and that’s what they showed her in class. Lynn proceeded to call me a lier saying she offered me to reprint the pages, she didn’t. I have impeccable memory and if I was offered that I would have went ahead and done it to be on the safe side. I had to get the pages notarized again at the same location, she refused a refund. Called me basically a liar and acted like she didn’t have any supervisors and management information to provide for me and my refinancing advisor Ashley. We’ve contacted corporate, but again piss poor service and her attitude won’t get her very far with anyone.
