Came for my tire appointment 7am on a Saturday. Door was locked and no one answered the phone. Waited for 45 minutes before someone came out and said that they are closed. ?

They never answered their phone. It took longer than we expected. But they were slammed. Long lines. Long wait. Not their fault.

The three star for the young gentleman that was there the day I needed service! I honestly try to avoid going there at all costs! But one day I needed a tire so bad and let’s just say the worst and I mean worst customer service in this whole wide world! But the young man there was very nice. The work done was ok let’s be honest but the service and attitude! This whole Walmart honestly needs new everything!!!! Do better Walmart!

I had a really disappointing experience with the auto care management team at the Harrisonburg, VA Super Walmart. I was wary about taking my care to be serviced at Walmart vs a traditional garage, but decided it was only having new tires installed, so worth a shot. To be fair, the technicians were fine. Did what was expected and in a timely fashion. The problem was the management team. Completely unresponsive to my complaint/situation. The problem was that I purchased tires from Walmart.com. With less than 10K miles on them, 2 tires had worn down to the wear bar. I had all 4 wheels aligned shortly after the tires were installed ...and the car had no evidence of pulling. I asked the manager to look into what could be done to either replace those tires or give credit towards new ones...crickets. Got the corporate run around. Explained he had to contact the store manager or possibly the regional manager. In the meantime, I contacted the tire manufacturer, only to find out that Walmart was selling a discontinued tire, with no disclaimer that the tire was no longer being made. The manufacturer said that likely the rubber had degraded with age and was the probable reason for the early wear. They absolved themselves of any culpability because a discontinued tire was out of their warranty. I brought that info to the auto care manager again. Once again, no response. It has been about a month since all this has happened and have not received any updates. I have visited the store numerous times and called a bunch more. I guess their response is to not engage. I have since sold the car, but this experience has put me off from ever using their auto care again and will most definitely not be recommending them to my friends or family.

I gave it a 2 star rating and really it should be a one star rating because it takes 15 different phone calls over the course of an hour to get somebody to answer the phone at walmart.

They got me in on a Saturday evening and got my tires changed for me. They give you a text when the work is started, and again when the work is complete letting you maximize shopping time in the store. Very professional desk people (you don't talk with the shop guys).

Manager was very ignoring and not perfessional at all. Would not even try to resolve the issue. I will never take my truck back to them again. What a rip off.

There were no cars but I was told that they were too busy to do an oil change. With condescending tone, lady on the counter tells me that they are booked for next 6 hours. When I asked if I can take an appointment for oil change after 6 hours, she is says no & I will have to come and check if they are available. This is not the first time this happened. Seems like They don't want our business. When I called Walmart at burgess road, they gave me immediate appointment within 15 mins I was done with oil change. Management at John Wayland walmart should take some inspiration from their Burgess counterparts.

Came in at 3pm to get my tires rotated.Was turned away because they said they didn't have time to do the work. Two employees were working on one car and only one car in a three car bay. I was the only person in line. Tex is the manager here in this department.Disappointed and I will go somewhere else.2 stars for not doing a 5 minute tire rotationServices: Tyres

Called for price of tire and went to get and when I got there was closed it was between 4-5pm. Went to another Walmart in Harrisonburg and they said the reason why that location closed is because of lack of employees certain amount of employees has to be working in order to be open so instead of having a set time at this location you need to put time varies very disappointed but I still got my tire thanks to the other Walmart
