Westover Swimming Pool is a large public pool with two main areas. One is a shallow pool, three to four feet deep all across with lap lanes. The other is a deeper pool, ranging from four to twelve feet, featuring a diving board and a rock climbing wall. There is also a very nice splash pad area with a splash bucket. The facility offers plenty of shaded areas with pavilion tarps, open sun areas with beach lounge chairs, and picnic tables. There are clean and tidy restrooms and a park. The pool is noted for being cheap to get into and clean. A key feature is a separate, roped-off adults-only section, which is politely and kindly enforced by the lifeguards. This allows for a chill vibe away from enthusiastic youngsters. The staff are great and truly care about their jobs, with safety as a priority. Plenty of lifeguards are on duty. However, some reviews note that kids can be a bit rough in the general areas, with foul mouths and rude behaviors, which may not be ideal for young children. There is also a mention of a lifeguard not intervening in an incident. Overall, it is considered a quality pool and is highly recommended.
Big pool. Plenty of lifeguards. The only downside is that the kids can be a bit rough in this area. Fouls mouths and rude behaviors makes you bot want to swim here with young kids.
