I took my Acura 2002 MDX truck their to get my rack and pinion replaced and not only did they do a excellent job, they replaced a oil drain plug that they noticed was bad they went above and beyond the call of duty and did several other things that wasn't on the work order. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auit repairs.

I brought my vehicle Whitmer's a few days ago to have the TPMS sensors replaced on a set of new tires and wheels. They were less than a week old. When the vehicle was picked up, there were scratches on 2 of the wheels and damage to the tires themselves. I took it to the shop to show them, and the woman who looked it over said it wasn't as bad as she was expecting and that they weren't responsible for any damage to the wheels per their signage. She said she was sorry I wasn't happy and that black wheels are the worst for showing scratches. There was no apology for the damage the tire shop caused, only an apology for my feelings about the damage. Absolutely will not be recommending this shop to anyone, nor will we be doing business with them in the future.

A bolt got lodged in my tire not far from this shop, these guys patched it right up and didn't waste any time doing it for under 50 bucks.

Had been taking my vehicles to Whitmer's for years and was planning to go for inspections and annual work in the next month. I needed an oil change and had some time today to spare so I went to do it myself, I have spent 2 hours and half a can of WD40 just trying to get this impact wrenched oil pan screw out! I've spent $1000s with Whitmer's to avoid paying more to dealers and buy local, but not after this since it's probably going to cost me a new oil pan...

I have been calling Whitmer’s since 8am when they open, it’s 9:07am and I have yet to get anyone to pick up the phone. Not quite sure how you can run a business but don’t answer the phone! Terrible!!!

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever received. The heating system in my vehicle went out in the middle of snow storm. I informed them that I was only going to be in town for about 2 days, and asked them if they were able to help. They were able to immediately service my vehicle and get it back to me. I am extremely grateful for their hard work and dedication. I am from Northern Virginia and I would rather make the 2hr trip down here to get my vehicle fixed than get it done close to home. Exceptionally job.

Have only been here twice but both times felt like a total rip off. The staff are certainly friendly, but the business as a whole does not strike me as trustworthy or competent. I went to them for my inspection a few years ago and they told me I needed work done that would cost around $700 in order to pass. I took my car to another mechanic further away, someone trusted by a family member, who said whatever Whitmer's claimed needed fixing was perfectly fine, and he passed me without a problem. Recently took my car in to get a flat tire fixed in the afternoon and they charged me $40 for apparently fixing it, but after only driving a few miles home and then not driving it the rest of the day, it was completely flat again by the morning. So I payed them money for nothing. The people are kind enough, but the work seems lousy and not worth the money.
