“I cannot place the sub zero attitudes and excluding behavior of one on the whole church however i can be very grateful for having shared the same treatment by someone in the church that Christ was given by the church in His day in perfect timing and receive it with the spirit of Christ.”
“GUM Church is friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated their Christmas service, the message on love and loss was heartfelt and meaningful. They also do a great job creating family-friendly events like Trunk or Treat, which our kids always look forward to. And I have to say, their marquee signs are the best! Whoever is behind those hilarious messages definitely deserves a shoutout. It’s clear the church puts love into everything they do.”
“I first visited this church last year when I heard about their deaf ministry. I was instantly greeted by both the deaf and hearing members of the church. Pastor Mark has gone above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Whenever I come, he shakes my hand, signs Good Morning, and takes an interest in my family. He seems to know almost everyone by name. His sermons are incredible. They perfectly balance the service. There are about 20 minutes of announcements, music, scripture reading, and a children’s story. Then, for 30 minutes, Pastor Mark delivers a sermon that always draws from the Bible and applies it to our daily lives. I always feel like the sermon was written just for me! The service ends with a song and invitation time. Pastor Mark always goes to the exit door to shake everyone’s hands as they leave, personally saying goodbye and checking if they need anything. The ushers, choir, support staff, and members are all so friendly and there’s no pressure to do or say anything. The dress code is casual, ranging from jeans and a t-shirt to your Sunday best. I absolutely love this place and it’s become our home!”
