“Daughter’s fairy tale wedding in mid-October would not have been complete without booking the Whole House!A great value for such an incomparable memory, and worth every single penny!Simply can NOT say enough about this stunning property, Hannah and the staff, and every aspect of the Manor!Although pristine and luxurious, our whole family also felt comfortable and cozy during our 3-night stay.(This can be challenging during October, when the temp and weather can change on a dime, by the way.)I don’t know how they do it, but they do it all. ☺️We enjoyed everything from the guest rooms and coffee bar, to the Conservatory for family game nights and wedding day photos, and the Groom’s parlor. And plenty of porches and patios for those moment when you just need to take a breather in the fresh air and spend some alone time with a book. ?Epic photo opps galore, throughout! And of course, the magical Honeymoon Suite, which is just precious and perfect in every way.Any time we had a single question or request, whatever it was just magically and quickly appeared (ironing boards, etc). Our family has a lot of career military folks with decades of worldwide travel experience, and we have never experienced personalized and genuine service such as this.** When you book your wedding at Evergreen, you simply MUST book the Inn ASAP, while it’s available! **Rooms: Cannot say enough about the spacious yet cozy rooms! Each one is a different theme and size for accommodations, and our family loved them all. Each has a mini-fridge, ice bucket, and sturdy glasses for guests’ use.(Ice maker is readily available on the lower floor ?)Private full baths are all lovely and include fluffy towels, robes, and travel items.Bring your cubes and/or power strips for multiple devices!Safety: Hannah the Innkeeper has a great system for guest security, for which she will provide the info as you need it.Walkability: Circular drive to unload your luggage through the front door, before parking in the very spacious adjacent lot.3 Accessible rooms on the first floor, which was GREAT for our more senior family members! There is considerable walking required around the property, with wide/deep stone steps in various areas. I would not recommend a lengthy stay for those with severe physical limitations. The many photos clearly show the vibe for those with accessibility concerns.Food & drinks: Love the coffee bar that was always replenished with various k-cups, water for filling the machine, sweeteners and creams! And granola bars and other snacks too. We had a houseful, so this was a very welcome amenity.NOTE: Dress code for food & bev in the golf club. Plan for biz casual or whatever would be acceptable as golf attire. The club was VERY accommodating and welcoming to us, although our large wedding weekend party was not prepared for the dress code.”

“I don't usually review wineries but had such a great experience, I felt compelled to share. Everything was wonderful from stat to finish. We came to La Grange on a cold January day for a friend group outing. My husband and I along with another friend couple arrived ahead of our other friends. We decided on trying the buy 1 get one free wine tasting and went with the reds. I had mentioned to my husband walking in that I never remember wines when visiting wineries. We both agreed after this wine tasting, this would not be the case. All of the wines were amazing! And unique. It was hard to pick a favorite among them.We had the pleasure of working with Chris, who seamlessly bounced between our friend group arriving at different times, seeking different wine style tastings. He was friendly, patient (our group may have broken a glass upon jubilant hellos), and knowledgeable. Being int he Bull Run area, it was fun to learn about the history of the building and wines Just be careful with Chris - he's a great salesman! He easily sold one of our friends on a membership - although the memberships do seem like a great value. I can't recall the exact specifics so don't want to speak on it, but if you are even slightly interested in a winery membership, I'd recommend asking about this one.We spent most of our time in the basement which is a cozy space, decorated with lights and that could accommodate our group as well as others. It was also helpful that they allow outside food, since we could pair what we wanted with the bottles of wine being consumed.Great time, great people, great experience. I'd love to come back in warmer weather to see the ground. Highly recommend!”

“Great place for kids to learn how to ice-skate, or spend quality time with the family during the free-skate times, with live music. It gets cold for the bystanders, so bundle up. Seating is limited to single benches along the side wall of the rink. Staff is friendly, and the instructors encourage and provide positive feedback to the kids; hence, we keep coming back. Does get busy on the weekends with ice hockey practices, doors keep opening and slamming shut to get to the other rink.”
