One of the best saunas in town I've been to dozens in recent months and I have to say hands down that the sauna is the hottest, which means less time in the sauna for business people and has a lot of humidity, especially with the gap underneath the door which is excellent for not burning your skin And also, the staff here, really wonderful, the only issue I have with this place is it doesn't have a pool, otherwise 5 stars. Great gym. Clean, equipment is always functional and never out of order longer than couple days (unlike AmFam). I want to give shout out to Russell, we know when he is there gym is always in top shape. Always says hello and makes sure he gets to know members. Thank you for all you do.

Came here from out of town. Best gym I have been to hands down, there are tons of equipment so you never have to wait, everything is kept super clean, and the manager is awesome, friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Highly recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with the gyms management. I initially signed a contract back in high school and have had to freeze my membership due to being at college. Golds gym did not care about this, and decided to charge me for 4 months that I wasn’t even able to go to the gym. Their contract is genuinely awful, I moved away to try and cancel it recently and they said I either have to pay hundreds of dollars or send in a bunch of information with a 50$ charge and they will take next months dues as well. Unexpected things happen in life with people moving and such and I think they should’ve been way more understanding and not made an 18 year old kid unknowingly have to spend hundreds of dollars without letting them know what the contract entails.

-The good: They have a team of very good trainers, they are dedicated and capable. If you need trainers, they can help for sure.
-The bad: They require contract while other gyms do not, the wifi of this particular gym is not stable and does not quite working most of the time for me. You may have to use your own data in some case.
-The ugly: They seem to do thing behind your back without telling you. I had a 12 month contract with them, after the contract expired, I was on month to month. Then I was told if I bring my spouse with me, it was still a month to month contract. I did not know that they put me on a 24 month contract without telling me, did not email me nor give me a hard copy of the contract. Then when we mutually agreed to cancel the membership, they are still charging me the membership AFTER the mutual agreed date to cancel. I brought it to their attention but they ignored me until I filed a complaint to BBB. Then they said they had refunded the unauthorized charge to my credit card but 2 weeks had passed and I did not see any credit/refund initiated on my Credit Card account. Messaged them and my message was ignored of course. I will need to contact my bank to have my charge removed later today. So, be very careful when you leave your CC on your profile with them and check the charge carefully. They either are not very competent or their system is too rigid or they are not quite honest..

My go-to gym when I visit the area. Friendly manager and staff, clean environment, plenty of equipment options, and accommodates all workout styles.

Equipment is pretty good, Rachel at the front desk is great. Other than that, don’t expect customer service after you sign up, the trainers here and at West End Dr are not A1, you’ll have cleaners mop the squat rack while using it, their 100 lb dumbbell can cut up your finger and they’ll not have bandaids or a care in the world. I’ve lost over 130 lbs and this gym helped, but I did it completely on my own. By the way, they won’t even respond to their own messages they send out about why I quit their gym lol. Maybe if your gym was actually high quality, someone would’ve messaged me back.

I am extremely disappointed with the unethical practices at this gym. My son, who is a minor, was knowingly handed a contract for a committed membership without my presence or consent. A parent’s signature is legally required, but instead of following proper procedures, they obtained the signature of someone else and signed him up.
After I discovered this, I contacted the General Manager, who confirmed via email that the contract would be canceled and assured me that no charges would be made. Despite this, my son’s debit account was charged for the first month of membership.
I’ve attempted to contact the GM multiple times since then, but they have not responded. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty is unacceptable. Signing up minors without parental authorization and taking their money is both unethical and corrupt.
I strongly urge everyone to be cautious when dealing with this gym. Beware—this place is not trustworthy.

Davis, the manager, and 2 younger girls at the front are awful customer service employees. Was refused an entry guest pass with my brother, then I tried to get a free day pass from online and was refused entry again lol. Davis claimed my guest pass wasn’t even for the gayton location but it was. Very interesting behavior to say the least lol
