Didn't receive great customer service. The man I spoke with over the phone was condescending. Customers can here when you are being "fake nice". I called to pay my auto loan early, so I have no hiccups with it being my first payment and he kept saying what is your member number. I told him I only had an account number and wasn't sure if that was the same and he kept saying "what is your member number". So finally, I gave him my account number and he never apologized for being wrong or insensitive. Also, "sure" is not a professional thing to say. I've been in customer service for 10+ years and everyone knows that "sure" is someone's way of saying "I don't want to help but I have to". Thankfully I only have an auto loan through the bank so I will pay online so I can avoid people like him.

The staff here is so welcoming and people friendly, I would definitely recommend Mrs. Rolanda Lee, Ja’Mya Roots or Mrs Shirley Porea they are amazing and will take care of everything thing you need

We came into the branch with a special situation expecting to have a problem with our request due to a conversation with a rude rep on the phone. However, Ms Thomas took care of our situation within minutes! We didn't even have to speak to the branch manager as we were advised to by another phone rep. Excellent customer service! Was considering applying for an account, so I got an application from this branch. Upon going through the application, I noticed that it asked for my email address and password, which is incredibly shady and a poor business practice in my opinion. I've NEVER had to give private information like that, which could be leaked in a data systems hack. My gut said to just go with USAA, which I did. Glad I listened to my instincts, because guess what USAA didn't ask for, like all of my past banks? My email address and password.

Very pleasant and willing to help. I mean this is the best credit union I’very ever had. These people are heaven sent. If you’re up in the Henrico area this should be your first chance!!!! I promise you wouldn’t regret it! And go see Rosa while you there, tell her I sent you.

I came in with a problem with my account being over drawn because I was unable to use the atm. I was so upset that I couldn’t make the deposit to stop the over draft. I called customer service whom was unable to help me but referred me to the branch . I called Rolanda Lee and left a message. I hadn’t heard back from Mrs. Lee yet so I stopped by the branch, well little to my knowledge Mrs. Lee had already taken care of the problem. We laughed and had a great conversation. She is a lil Ray of sunshine. And I truly appreciate her. What she doesn’t know is she saved me from closing my account. I thank anyone whom takes the time to listen and help the customer without passing judgement first. Great Job Mrs. Lee @ the Laburnum branch ❤️

Wow The reviews just made it worse, when I was going to open an account, but wow .. they way these people was treated in person is EXACTLY how they talked to my daughters mother over the phoneJust trying to resolve an issueWon't be doing any busy here EVER‼️‼️‼️

Terrible. Rude. Refused service. I came in with a check to cash as a non Member, the teller or location person in charge shoved the check back at me and walked away said they were not going to cash it because I was rude .... looks like the reviews already reflect the service here tho so this only confirms what others already knew

This is the worst branch of ANY bank I've ever been apart of. How they can still operate like this is beyond me. My entire family banks here and we are seriously considering pulling everything from all accounts and going elsewhere. HFCU needs to address the constant issues at this branch.

April 2nd. I'm withdrawing all my funds and never using this branch again. I've been waiting over 25 mins and not one car has moved. Months ago I was able to go into the lobby. Why now are we not able to go inside?

Since the bank is not open, the drive in lines are extremely long. I waited over 45 to even reach the machine. The tellers if there isn't only one are super slow. Even the ATM line is a long wait. Very disappointed

I had a GREAT experience today with Mrs. Rolanda Lee. I had an appointment to open an account and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. We even shared quite a few laughs ?. I felt so comfortable and I'm pleased with my choice to join the HCFU family. Thank you!
