I used to go to this store all the time. But after excessive amounts of theft, they have instituted annoying anti-theft measures and a new checkout system that is extremely touchy. I understand they need to protect their business, but it is very off-putting to normal shoppers. The employees tend to be rather miserable.

The bakery section has a selected assortment of great fritters, donuts,and cream filled. All freshly baked in the morning.
Atmosphere is almost like walking into an airport terminal.

Sub-par produce and over-charges. I had to return to the store to get my money back for a bag of shrimp I was over-charged for. Strawberries were old and moldy, I bought organic fresh basil that is unusable after one day. This store is the worst Lidl I have found. Bring back the Short Pump Store! It was so nice!

The store is fine, product selection and prices are good, but water the poor dying plants outside!!! Guy who acted like assistant manager had time to go outside and smoke by the carts but couldn't be bothered with the drooping flower pots
