Walking into the store all I got was a slap in the face with the smell of gasoline. It got so bad it felt like I could taste it.
I barely stayed in the store.
I decided to go elsewhere for my dog food because of how badly it smelled. I feel horrible for the birds in there.

I’ve been a loyal Petco customer for over five months, regularly bringing my two dogs in for grooming without any prior issues. However, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. After dropping my dogs off, I had to wait an entire hour just to pick them up after being told they’d be done in 15-20 minutes, which is completely unacceptable.
The lack of communication and urgency from the staff was frustrating, especially given my consistent patronage. I expected better service, especially considering how well things had gone in the past. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider bringing my dogs here in the future. Petco, please do better.

The Parham Road location was not very clean and the people working there were rude and not helpful at all…this was my first and last visit to the location.

Dont go here unless you want an attitude from management. We had a grooming appointment scheduled for 8:30am and showed up a couple minutes early and no one was there which we understood and waited patiently. Then time kept going by and a little after 9am we were let in by someone that worked there who said the groomer wasn't here yet. Around 9:15am a manager(older lady) showed up who clearly didn't want to be there or deal with this. Also there were 2 other people that showed up, one for a 8:45am appoint(they left) and one for a 9:15am appointment (stayed and waited). Still we were very polite but this was getting completely ridiculous that there is very little communication and empathy for keeping us waiting so long. Eventually the manager called the groomer to find out what was going and sounded like a scheduling issue which is clearly a management issue. We were told the groomer would be here by 9:30am. All I said to the manager was that we needed to talk and see what can be done because its ridiculous that we are having to wait this long for an appoint we prescheduled and have gotten numerous texts about. The manager got EXTREMELY defensive, started making excuses and giving a fake apology. Just after 9:30am the groomer showed up and checked my dog in as well as the other. While our dog was getting groomed we ended up just doing errands and waited for a text she was ready because I assumed since my appointment was first and the groomer was late that my dog would be done first but nope the other dog that was getting groomed and had the appointment after me was ready first. So we just decided to go in and check and my dog ended up just getting done. The groomer was very nice and told us our bill would be covered because of the situation and even went up and told another manager (younger girl with short curly hair) who was at the register about it so when we went up to purchase our other things the grooming would be covered. We got up to the register and the only thing the manager said was “let me put in your discount”….THATS IT! No Im sorry for the situation, no apology, I couldnt believe it! Customer service is such a big thing especially this day and age so needless to say I would never go back.

I was hesitant about going back to Petco for grooming after my preferred groomer left but I'm glad I did. Emmanuel is a gem! He got my pup looking amazing and feeling confident! Emmanuel followed my preferences on having my pup's facial hair cut lower due to him having tear stains (Maltese) and had no judgment on the way pup looked (it had been an extended period of time between professional grooming). He also answered questions I had about dental hygiene. Thank you Emmanuel! We will be back!

I used to go to this place years ago out of lack of options until I found Tractor Supply. Then today was the second time I went to it, and a short black girl wearing a tool belt on her side, hair in a bun, had a MASSIVE attitude right from hello. A big F YOU written all over her face and almost gave me attitude over giving me a bag. Man, this place sucks. I'll never go back, TRACTOR SUPPLY is the way to go. May be farther, but the dog foods are always well circulated, so it's fresh, as are the treats, better quality for a better value all day and every day. Even if they were equal - the customer service at TRACTOR SUPPLY is superior to the attitudes you get in petco. At least the one on North Parham. Only reason I give it 3 stars is when I'm sick, I can just pop over, but that's come to an end today as well.

I took my two dogs in to be groomed by Greyson. He did an Amazing job with our two dogs! We will most definitely be back and will be requesting him in the future.

I would never go back to this Petco for grooming services again! I would have rather them tell me they didn’t want to do the service for my dog then to have him look like this! It’s not like they don’t over look your pet before service to not know what they are about to deal with not to mention he’s small and is still a puppy I got the run around about blades and this and that , that has to be used when shaving your pup but yet there was no issue sending him out looking like he was apart of a circus you shaved his body and didn’t even have the common decency to at least give him a bath an gave him back to me as is with hair falling all off of him my baby looks ridiculous then to tell me I need to go to a professional “vet groomer “ so they would be able to groom him so what exactly is petco then?? Because i clearly signed paper work stating that if he was to get cut during service that y’all had permission to take him over to y’all on-site vet worse experience don’t bring your fur baby here! I got him home gave him a bath clipped him down not much because I don’t know what I’m doing but that’s all they had to do instead of give me some crazy story then gonna recommend me to go go another groomer and offer me to come back after he goes elsewhere I wish I thought never again !
