Call roadside this company took my car to there storage lot without every bringing it to my home. They told me they thought it was business. So they bring it to the address roadside told them to bring it too.

This company was assigned to me via State Farm. I specifically told the driver that the car was overheating and I did not want to drive it. The driver delivered my vehicle to the wrong location , despite the correct location being given. I was able to get a hold of the driver and requested he deliver it to the correct location where I was waiting ( they would not let me ride along). I was appalled when I saw him DRIVE UP in the car. I did not want it driven hence to point of the tow. When I asked why he drove it he shrugged his shoulders and said “it’s fine, it didn’t overheat”. I attempted to call the Dispatch back afterwards and my calls were repeatedly disconnected.

Avoid like the plague!!!!When my fiancé's car needed towing, we were assigned Portillo's. After 65 minutes, we tried to call to get an estimate as the tracker wasn't updating. After multiple attempts to get through, we got a very rude operator. He told us it would be another 15 minutes.After 20 minutes and no update, we tried to call again. They guy kept hanging up on me ... saying he was very busy, Finally, he stayed on the line long enough to tell me he was cancelling the order for the tow truck - all we wanted was an update!!!He left my fiancé, after hours, without a ride nor a tow truck.We reported this company to the dispatching company. Thankfully, they dispatched another towing company. Yes, it will be another hour wait. That will make this a 2.5 hours wait.This company has no business being in business with this type of customer service.

The tow truck driver made every excuse in the book NOT to help tow my unable-to-switch gears atm car. He told me it would be an extra charge for getting the car out of the alley because of the size...a Honda CRV in an alley that garbage trucks frequently drive down with no issue in the city....he also asked if i was selling the car and why i needed it moved? WHAT.Fortunately my boyfriend was able to leave work to help cause the guy refused to even steer the car for me to push (me a 5'2 female-totally stranded OK). Everything about the experience felt sketchy and unsafe. Stay away from this place!

my car never got returned by this company and now i have a claim up because my car is now considered stolen when it was suppose to be bought back to my residence and they refuse to help and assist me and told me they couldn't see the numbers on my apartment and so my car is still missing and no one knows anything about what happened to my car this was 3 years ago

I was so upset that my car had to get towed to the dealer...but the driver called, was really nice and got to me in no time, in the snowy weather and got my car on the flatbed no problem! Thank you!

Beware: ALWAYS ask for an estimate. They tried to charge me $850 for picking up a car and have it in their lot for a few hours the day of the accident.My young, unsuspecting daughter had an accident, a police officer came and insisted on calling Potillo's himself instead of allowing her to call her insurance company to make arrangements. The officer said her insurance tow truck would take about an hour to get there, too long, he said. My daughter asked how much it would be and was told not more than $350 for that day, $50 for each extra day. An hour and 15 minutes later, the tow truck came and took the car to Portillo's. GEICO never had us waiting for more than 30minutes no matter where we were. I called them to pickup the car that afternoon and was told my bill would be $850, there was a "police fee involved". Since my daughter asked for an estimate in advance, we paid about $350. I suspect that's why we didn't have to pay the "police fee". Outrageous.

Super responsive, called them they got there in 30 minutes, hooked it up and got me to where I needed. Kedir was super professional and really helped me out. Shoutout to him

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use these people for a towing service. Their customer service is terrible, they are rude and inconsiderate, and their communication with clients it’s absolutely awful. I had had a flat, called my insurance company and they told me they’d send Portillos. After waiting an hour I called the shop for an update, Jackie Torres answered and told me 30-35 minutes. She then told me that the VAN they were sending to tow my car was too small so they would send a truck. After waiting another 20 minutes I called back and a man answered telling me that they saw my claim and then cancelled it then proceeded to tell me I never spoke to them regarding updates on a tow….they are the only Portillos towing company near my area. The man, who already had an attitude when he answered the phone,HUNG UP ON ME while I was explaining my issues. I had to call my insurance for another towing company. These people are unprofessional and their company should be shut down.

I got myself into a jam the other night. I called the right crew they were fast in arriving. Assessed the situation and got to work right away with no more issues. Portillos is the real deal Holy field company you want when you need them.

Horrible customer service. Passed by my truck on 64 going the wrong way. After I called to tell them they simple said it was my problem and to call my insurance company back.!!!

I called progressive to have my vehicle towed for mechanical problems @5:30 the tow showed up but the driver after crossing a bridge in my part of town stated the the address was wrong and he would have to get paid in extra cash which I didn't have. And 3 blocks from my home he said he would have to stop. So I told him it would probably end up in court. He acted like he was going to stop and let the vehicle go but then he told me because I said going to court he going to take the vehicle. I told him I was going to call the police because he was stealing my vehicle. But he took my vehicle and abandoned me. And we are not even talking 3 miles of towing . My insurance co. Said that I was supposed to not give him anything. I called the police. They were useless. And I still haven't gotten my Ford Explorer, the company is turning out to be a scam. As is my Progressive policy.They are just as full of problem as the tow company.And they took my heart Meds too in the teuck.And now they say $100 storage to get my vehicle back.Service: Car towing

I broke down in the driveway of Marc's in Canton. My roadside assistance through my insurance could not procure a tow for me. I called Portillas and was told they would be there in about 45 mins. Ryan Portilla (a very nice young man) showed up in about 15-20 mins. He hooked my car up so fast I didn't even realize he was done I was home in my apartment before the initial 45 mins were even up. Ryan was able to back my car into a parking space and did it so well it looked as if I parked it there myself. This is a very professional tow company. I will be using them for all my towing needs from now on even if my insurance company will not reimburse me. I am not a big fan of who progressive uses. GREAT JOB RYAN

I was having a really tough day, got a flat and went through 2 other tow companies to get a flatbed. Richard and portillos did a great job, they got out car towed asap and provided great service. They even gave all 3 of us a ride and delivered us and our car safely and securely to our destination. Thank you Portillos!
