Absolutely the most trusted shop owner in the area. I’ve known this family my whole life, as they have been working on our cars and involved in the local community. W.O. Was a legend and you will find photos high on the wall of several local establishments of these folks. Family generations keep this shop running while mechanics come and go through time. Life and car problems aren’t always fixed no matter where you go, but this location is authentic and true to the spirit of American motoring.

Absolutely horrible service and owner that damages the vehicle part in the shop during the repair , tries to hide it , admit it and then still charges for that part to be fixed . They lost me and my company as a customer over $200 part . Images attached , they glued TURBO AIR INTAKE hose .

There's no other place I would rather go in Northern Virginia to get our car serviced - we make the drive just because they do such a good job. It's an old school shop, not a big business - but they do a great job, are responsive to your questions / concerns, and try to get you in as soon as possible (even though they're in high demand!) Worth the few days wait at times, our cars only go here.

Doesn't get any better then this shop. Great people that do great work. They don't oversell you. They are fair on their prices and very transparent. You will not find a better shop.

I dropped my car off here in a panic after it started acting up on the highway. Despite being booked up for the week they managed to get it back to me the next day so that I would be able to make it to work. So grateful!

It takes a little while to get in, but these folk can actually repair things. Had two components that needed a bit of new wiring. Have gone here for years with older cars. Taken my newer cars to the dealer. Coming back here again going forward.

I normally hate taking my car into the shop, I dont always trust mechanics. However at this shop there was a young man named Joe who was very patient, and helpful. He explained the problem very clearly, and explained the costs (which were pretty low) in a way that was easy for me to understand. Many years ago in ~1990, we took our car here for service and were very pleased with both the service and the cost. It seems this good marketing policy is still their goal. Proof that good service and decent price are the important ingredients in success and longevity.

As a long time customer, when my Son's car broke down, I knew immediately that Dranesville Auto would be the best place to go. Despite a crushing workload, they fit in my repair and got the car ready in 24 hr! Over the years, I've never been disappointed with the workmanship or cost of parts and labor. In fact, on several occasions I've been surprised (dare I admit) by how reasonable the bill was. Can't recommend this place enough!
