I think Franklin Farm Vet is probably the best in the NoVA area.

Everyone was very patient and encouraging to my anxious dog, making him feel relaxed and comfortable. This was the first time in years he didn't need a muzzle and was able to get a full exam. I wish we had found Franklin Farm Veterinary clinic years ago!

The staff are so patient, kind, and helpful at every stage (female owned and operated too!!). They check in after procedures to check on our sweet pup. I feel like we get more check ins than traditional doctors do, and we always appreciate the extra step Franklin Farm Vet takes every single time. Highly recommend!

Franklin Farm Veterinary has been our vet for several years. It's easy to see how much they love their patients - they are always so kind and patient with all of my pets, no matter what they're visiting for. They go out of their way to make my animals feel comfortable during their exams.I recently had to put a dog to sleep and the staff at Franklin Farm Veterinary Clinic was amazing. They were understanding and comforting - the veterinarian sat with me for a long time and had the kindest things to say about my dog and his time on this earth. I will be forever grateful to them for how they handled this visit and every other visit we have there.

One star gives one of their reception lady. I’m not sure what happened to her or her life but she gave me attitude since I met her at the first time in their office. At the end we decided leave the practice. In herndon has many vet clinics. I don’t pay for a person who gives me attitude all the time!First time I met her because my dog needs to do urine test, we came to the office and picked up a urine test tube, and we stop by their office on Saturday and they were closed. And then the following weekend, we went to their office again. We told them we stop by a week ago on the weekend and you guys closed we did not know. She was very upset told me: “ we are work very hard over here and we are short staff now.” At that moment, I was confused what happened to her, she has Saturday working attitude? did I say something wrong? Why she gave me attitude? If she doesn’t want to work on Saturday, tell her boss, stop give customer attitude. Later on, she told me, our dog urine needs to be dropped off on Tuesday because that’s the last day after first time visit to do urine test. I don’t remember we had such conversations with doctor on the first time visit. At the end, the other lady (Lili) helped me out to get urine tube and allowed us bring over on Saturday, I really appreciate it to her.2nd time, we got call to pick up medication for our dog because she has surgery on the 2nd day. And the lady was there again. When we got medicine, a new lady asked me to pay $36.50. I just asked what is 3650. This lady not happy said :” you need to pay 36.50$”, my boyfriend and I both explained to her, our dog has surgery tomorrow, this medication is not included in surgery package? She didn’t explain anything and her face changed to dark again. Said you need to pay her medicine… at that time I already took out my card and inserted in their charging machine. also I asked do we need to pay any office visit tomorrow for her surgery. She didn’t have any patient tell us surgery is surgery. When we get medicine she told me three for tonight and two for tomorrow morning, and said instructions on the label. This lady made me feel uncomfortable at all, she doesn’t explain anything to you, she doesn’t like you ask any questions at all! I still be patient with her because my dog has surgery on 2nd day, I don’t want anything happen to my dog! dog doesn’t talk, anything happen to her, she can’t tell me. I’m very worry about to let her stay there all day long. I did think about to cancel surgery appointment on that night!!On the surgery day, I filled out the form because the lady made me very uncomfortable and I tried to stay away from her and asked other lady(Lili) help, when I asked questions, this lady jump out again to stop me ask questions.I’m not a native speaker, I tried my best to communicate with people. I hope people can respect asian and whoever speak 2nd language in this area. Your attitude makes your boss loss their business! Please be professional and learn your soft skills!

I absolutely adore everyone at Franklin Farm...and my dog did too. I used to work at Franklin Farm and continued bringing my dog Tyson here even after I stopped working here. Dr. Phillips knew him best and I was always so comfortable with him being there. He had so many medical issues and I was so thankful they were always there for support. When it came time to say goodbye, he had all of his favorite girls there with him and it was so peaceful. They loved my boy as much as I did. Thankful for Dr. Phillips and all of the staff, especially Caroline and Stacey ❤️ I bring my new puppy there too and I know they'll always be there for him too.
