I never write reviews but I have enough time to write one while waiting for them to pick up the phone. I have arrived multiple times to pick up my prescription I called in hours earlier only to have to wait as if I never called it in. My next refill will be at another pharmacy.

This place never answers the phone and when they answer after 5 or 6 attempts they put you on hold and keep you waiting for ever.

You have to stand in the ##### pharmacy line for 10 or 20 minutes to get a box of ##### 24-hour Sudafed. No obvious sign in that medicine section; you have to ask to find out. They won't hand it to you over the counter until you stand in the ###### line so there's another waste of time? Finally it was my turn and I asked for it and it turns out they didn't even have it. They were out of it and hadn't gotten any in. So why did you make me wait in line? ???

Went in to purchase a prepackaged tuna sandwich from the Fox Mill Shopping Center Giant - found one side with stale bread. I don't see how preparer didn't notice. I paid for a normal sandwich, not a stale one.

NO MATTER THE STATUS OF YOUR SCRIP PREPARE TO WAIT 30 MINS IN GIANT!!! Pharmacy does not answer phones you cant call anything in early???

This review pertains specifically to the PHARMACY at this location. I'll start by saying after over 20 years of patronizing this location, I've had enough of their continuing dysfunction and ineptitude and have changed my 'go to' pharmacy to a different store. This pharmacy never staffs the counter with enough people to handle their business so when waiting in line to even be seen, expect to stand there at least an hour. That's not my biggest issue with this place. I have several prescriptions I take on a regular basis and get pretty regularly. Giant sends you a text when your medications are ready for pickup, yet on numerous occasions and on numerous medications, I'll get a text telling me my prescription is ready for pickup only to go there and learn that's not the case - or that they're out of stock and need to order it - so I end up going without my medications because they're out of stock - this happens almost every single time with certain meds. I just had this happen where I was supposed to have a partial refill remaining on a script yet, they would not fill the partial remaining amount and I would need to make an appointment (that wasn't needed if they filled the partial amount) to get a new script from my doctor - That's total Bull****. I called my doctor - told them what was going on - to which they too expressed exasperation - and, at that point, I changed my default pharmacy for all scripts from this doctor going forward, After over 20 years of patronizing this location, I've had enough of their crap and will not deal with these screwups going forward. This is not the first time they gave me a hard time needlessly while offering no alternatives to offset their ineptitude and utter incompetence, but after far too much ridiculously needless garbage, I'm done with these screwups.

I have lived in this area for only 4 years. This Giant is disgusting. On numerous occasions I have purchased food here and it ended up being spoiled when I got home and opened it. On another occasion, I went to look at the turkey in the case. The package I picked up was open, leaked all over me and stunk to the high heavens! And this was with a KN95 mask on!! I will never shop here again. Done!!

Some management issue with the pharmacy: my wife is prescribed with Paxlovid due to covid, and I came here to pick it up. However, upon arriving at the counter, I was shocked to be told that they could not even find the prescription! Then after some phone calls back and forth, they told me that somebody had already pick it up before my arrival!I have no idea how something like this could even happen considering the pretty-robust process of picking up a prescription.I guess there is some significant management issue here for the negligence in distributing the medicine, especially for medicine as special as Paxlovid.Eventually the pharmacist helped me to get the Paxlovid I need, so at least it solved the issue for me (and hence 2 stars rather than 1). But what happened to the one bottle of Paxlovid that has been wrongly distributed? We may never have an answer.I may switch to CVS from now on.

No costume service at all, I am standing here for 20 minutes to get help with followers. Two people promised me were going to send someone to help, but no one showed up.

My local Giant pharmacy in Herndon on John Milton drive refused to give me Covid vaccine even though the phone message and website site said they would take walk-ins. When I said the website and phone said they did I was told that the would not and stores could do what they wanted. First I was told they would not have any vaccine until next week, then was told I could make an appointment for tomorrow, I said then you have the vaccine and they said yes we do but won’t give vaccine without appointment. They have vaccine but said they were too busy. I called another Giant Pharmacy and was told of course we take walk-ins.

What an awful experience trying to get a flu shot. Walkins clearly not welcome. There's nobody waiting. "Did you make an appointment?' "No." It will be 30-40 minutes. "How do I make an appointment?" "Go to our website." I go to website. There's no click for appointment. I call. I get a recorded answer that gives the website so fast I can't write it down. For 25 years I've gotten good service. Past six months things have imploded. If this place didn't have all my records, I'd abandon them today.

I shop at Giant quite frequently and I have noticed that this store and other Giant stores in my area maintain exceedingly higher prices for items than other stores where I shop. For example, I recently purchased a bottle of Vita fusion Men's vitamins at the Fox Mill Shopping Center Giant store in Herndon Virginia for $20 and found out later that this same product was priced at Target for $11.89, at Walmart for $11.88, and Food Lion for $12.00. Giant pricing should be comparable to other stores, including on-line and over-charging customers is simply wrong and even worse during this high inflationary period. I have also observed many other products that Giant is over pricing and gouging customers. Giant needs to evaluate its pricing practice and do more to be reasonable to customers.
