The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they took care of my oil change honoring their online half off coupon.
However I was disappointed with the predatory pricing practices on vehicle repairs. Diagnosing the check engine light cost $140 and they quoted me over $1200 to replace a set of spark plugs, which I had another mechanic perform for $150.

I cannot emphasize this enough - you HAVE to choose Hogan & Sons in Herndon. The manager, Joey, has been taking care of my cars for years and I even drive from an hour away just to have them do service for me. Not only do they get simple jobs done quick and easy, but they are also the most transparent AND affordable shop I’ve ever been to. I never have a doubt in my mind that Joey has my best interests in mind when it comes to making sure my car is well taken care of. Car problems are inevitable, but I never stress about them anymore knowing I’m in good hands with Joey and his team in Herndon. If you need car service, the best decision you’ll ever make is bringing your car to them

Service Advisor Sharon was an absolute delight to deal with. She was truly a stress reliever due to just how on top of everything she was. They managed to provide me the same service at the quarter of the price the big name dealership was quoting me. Truly astonishing company and Sharon was the best part of it. I'm staying loyal to Hogan and Sons!

This shop deserves a zero star. I would never bring my car here again. Brought my tesla (2023) in for a safety inspection, after the inspection, the guy called and asked if I would like them to replace the front suspension control arms and tires. I said, Im ok. He said, we do it here cheaper than tesla you know. I told him the car is still under warranty with tesla. Then he said, we cant pass your vehicle and rejected it. What the hell ? you recommended me to replace it not to fail. Funny thing is, I brought it to different shop and they passed it right away. Bad service and not honesty.

Hogan & Sons completed my car's VA state inspection after another service center cancelled my appointment at the last minute. I'm glad that I was able to stop by and have the car inspected before its sticker expired. Also, the fish tank in their waiting room was a nice touch. Thank you!

I took my car in because of unknown noises. I needed a serpentine belt. I especially like Hogan & Sons’ general manager Mr. Joey. He is really honest and thorough in explaining issues of your car. He and the staff are very polite and courteous with the customers and Hogan & Sons will be my choice of auto repairs. Glad to have been referred to them by a friend.

Ive been to see Carlos, Joey and the whole team with some major car issues and they have been super kind, understanding and flexible! Don't take your car here to get a tire change, especially if you don't know what you're doing.
They'll tell you AWD cars need all tires replaced, despite you only needing one tire replaced. That's what they did for me, and unbeknownst to me they installed summer tires… now I can't even drive them in this frigid weather. I paid like 2k, got hosed.
Went back six months later because one tire had a nail in it, they didn't realize I had the warranty from them. They said the same thing, change all the tires, to brand new tires!! Until they realized oh shoot, we installed these earlier this year, nevermind!
