I read it before and it happened to me! Gym billed me out of nowhere $50 annual fees. when I subscribed, MICHAEL did not mention or explained anything about that, I told him I’m visiting many gyms and comparing prices then. And today in front of his supervisor he said he explained it to me and I accepted ?.Yes, similar reviews are not just Karens ? Customer service agents are not professional at this gym.BTW, sauna and stream room not working till this moment, so don’t believe them when they say they gonna be fixed soon ?

Decent equipment but similar to other reviews, staff is very rarely helpful or welcoming. The dry sauna has been out since the end of July with no estimate of when it will return, I've only been told 'several months' when asking managers it's status. And the steam room is consistently not working or will stop working in the middle of the day. Absolutely insane that amenities included in this 'signature club' are often not available. If you enjoy using the sauna and pool, find someplace else.

Had a great experience today! Kyle was super helpful. Another customer was being very loud and obnoxious behind us and Kyle totally kept his cool while trying to talk over it. I was just trying to activate a guest pass. I only wish I had an LA fitness with employees like Kyle near me!!

Gym management just do whatever they want without regard to policy’s or rules. My 1st time to the gym mike the “manager” wouldn’t let me in to workout even though I was given a 7 day pass simply because he didn’t like me personally. He proceeded to say the only way I could get in was buying a full membership on the spot simply to give me a hard time. when trying to talk to others for assistance they sided with him without knowing the situation and when attempting to buy a membership he wouldn’t even allow me to do that. I don’t think gyms should be ran where just because someone doesn’t like you they can deny you access without any valid reason.

I love it here! The gym is always clean and the machines are functioning 99% of the time. If not, then there is usually someone there fixing it promptly. The locker room and spa is really nice too!

LA Fitness Herndon leaves alot to be desired. While there is alot of equipment for a serious lifter and the cardio junkie the facility makes one wonder about the management. The staff is hit or miss, you either have an extremely helpful and nice experience or are met with a rude and unhelpful individual. There is not an in between. They will turn off lights 10 to 15 minutes prior to the gym closing. The women's locker room is not kep clean, and eventhough there is female staff working they will indicate they don't have housekeeping on the weekend. Let that sink in.I won't go into the fact that the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are not functioning 50% of the time or that only 3 of the four bathroom sinks are working. It is one of the lower priced gyms in the area, but you unfortunately get what you pay for......

The gym itself is...fine. But the staff do nothing to manage the numerous people who do not put equipment/weights away, leave trash everywhere, and do not respect gym rules (like allowing people to work in when the gym is busy...which is always). It is difficult to workout when weights and equipment are frequently misplaced or even broken.

The morning front desk staff is always so nice and greet you when you walk in. The place always seems pretty clean and so glad the music isn’t blasting your eardrums out like some gyms do. Really appreciate the policy that you cannot take pictures/videos of other people without consent. Not sure how they enforce it but it’s nice to have it stated.

Went in with a 3 day guest pass to try out the gym, Day 1 the front desk guy told me to pay 20 dollars if I wanted to try it out, which makes absolutely no sense so I left and I got a phone call from another guy which was a lot nicer and finally let me use the guest pass. Day 2, a front desk lady refused to let me in because I didn’t have my bar code with me, and then said that there is no way I could possibly have a gust pass if I don’t have the bar code. Then stated that “people who want to try out the gym, like to sue the gym” insinuating that I was going to sue them? She then found my guest pass on the data base after doing a simple search. I won’t be using my 3rd free day or signing up, these people have terrible attitudes and I don’t want to get into another confrontation with these people.

I had a great experience upon my first visit / membership sign-up with Kyle. He was incredibly down-to-earth, natural, humble, and friendly, and I only found out at the end that he is the GM!The gym is well-lit, spacious, and has a clean, new appearance to the place and the machinery I saw. The staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly, and you can use their membership in all 50 States. Finally, the plaza LA Fitness is in is wonderful for natural/organic foods, both at the grocery it seems, and at places like Naked Lunch / Mom's Organic Market and GreenFare Organic Cafe.Highly recommend!

I love this place, but today I had a very unpleasant time with one of their employee ( Mike), a very unrespecf person with a bad attitude, trying to laugh and being bossy!I explained to him why this was not nice with your customers, but he did not care what I was saying. I would like to share this issue with the ownership. Hopefully, make it correct, and they respect equally to our rights. Otherwise the rest of the employees are very nice.

I’ve been in and out of gyms for the better part of 30 yrs, and this is my favorite.Plenty of equipment, plenty of space. Sure, if you show up at 5pm on Monday to work chest, you’re going to run into the rest of Monday chest crowd.Gym is opens as early a 5am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. My point is if you stay away from peak hrs, you’ll be fine.Trainers are great. I’ve found that if they’re not with another client and I have question, they’re more than happy help. Can’t wait to go workout today!

Great amenities, pool, health saunas. But they to enforce cleanliness more here - I've gotten sick twice working out here during peak hours, and there is not enough cleaning sprays provided.

Hoist machines are amazing! First gym I found that has them. They’re not free often, guess people come here to sit on a machine and text.?

Located in a nice neighborhood. Near to residences in Herndon and Reston. Abundant parking even during peak evening hours. You’ll find enough equipments during non-peak hours. But during peak hours, expect some wait time for, benches and squat racks (just 3 for the whole gym). Rope extension and handles are just enough to get by during these hours. One good thing about LA, they have fixed the benches on floor in a designated area so there’s no reason to find one. The worst part is cleanliness, there are always hair and debris along these benches. Also, only handful people rack their weights back in their allocated location. Never seen so many undisciplined individuals in a single location.Dedicated area for boxing and dedicated rooms for Zumba, cycling and HIIT training. There’s a common swimming pool, separate men’s and women’s hot tub and sauna.Locker rooms are clean and decent sized, bring your own locks. The gym isn’t intimidating with people of all levels coming in, so I would recommend this gym for both new starters and also regulars.Skip towel service if you aren’t planning on taking showers in the gym.LA also allows you to bring 2 additional guests on 1 membership, so 3 in 1 is great deal for many.
