Really not enough time to write all that I would like to say about Aurelia Dinoso, what a Rockstar, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and it goes on. She made a bad day go much better with our account and helping get us thru opening a new account since someone else liked our account as well. The process for us is/was a pain and has lots of implication to our business, but at the same time we recognized the same pain it is on MainStreet side. Aurelia made both pains seem seamless, Thank You very much!! Job well done!!

Commerical lending is the worst that I had experienced. Lack of communication and when I expressed my concerns about the issues. I was told that we can take our business elsewhere instead of addressing the issues and work through it.

This is how banking should be/used to be. People who are friendly, willing and able to assist with banking needs. I have had to deal with another local bank recently I will not name (it rhymes with Smells Schmargo) and they continuously disappoint on every level and have no interest in customer service. The folks at Main Street are always very helpful and go above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They are also very kind to our dog, who loves stopping by for cookie. We truly appreciate the staff and their consideration.

There is always a person that can help you. In a world where everything is automated and you are forced to select an option that just sends you to another list of options and you finally just hang up it's nice to be able to speak with a person. If you do get a real person at another bank they usually can only submit a request that is eventually denied by someone you will never meet and can't speak to.

bad customer service. will not tell you what documents you need to open in person. i applied online...denied....send me letter. what is it with you ppl and letters?? it is not the flinstone age. Muhamed who does the online account opening should be better at customer service

Mainstreet Bank is a small hometown bank. They always greet you with a smile and are very personable. They don't charge the fees that the big banks do. I've never felt like I was important at a bank. They have numerous locations and are opening a new one in Leesburg. Their debit cards are usable at all ATMs and most with no fee. Ever get tired of listening to a computer? Everything is personal here... Melissa Prevatte is the Relationship Manager, AVP, and she is the best. She always goes out of her way to keep the clients happy. Highly recommended! I also moved my business account here. Now, I'm able to use credit card processing at a fraction of the cost the major credit cards charge. Well worth trying it. 5 stars!!!!

Wow what a bad organization. I say organization because I wasnt even able to test our their banking services as it was in excess of 10 days to get a simple business checking account setup. On top of that just to get the business checking account setup they sent me a long contract authorizing charges to deposit checks through my phone. They said " well we dont actually charge you that, its just if you want the check scanner, but you still have to sign and agree to the fee" yeah right. On top of that communication with the " relationship manager " was pretty good, but he appears to just be a face to the company and not able to actually do anything as every email will be cc'd with many others who either or do not do what is supposed to be done. Its an astoundingly broken system. You constantly hear people extolling the virtues of small business banking, but then you get these small business problems that make actually using a small bank impossible.

I've only had the most positive experiences with MainStreet. Friendly people, they give you leeway when you need it, and are understanding. I have my personal and business accounts with them and will never switch because they don't charge me a dime for any services. When it comes down to it, I've found that there are only two real factors separating any bank from its competitors: fees and friendly service. This bank has none of the former and lots of the latter.

I've had my fair share of the "too big to fail" bank accounts in the past. Never again. I had been searching for a bank that wouldn't charge me fees, would always greet me with a smile, offer a lollipop to my kid. It just seemed like they didn't exist. Then I met Tom, and he introduced me to this awesome super-bank. This has got to be the best-kept secret in the entire DC area. Not only does this bank do what the others do better (no fees whatsoever, great customer service, free check card), they gave me a check scanner for free. When I have an issue, I call the Vice President on his mobile phone. The VICE PRESIDENT. Wow. Just do yourself a huge favor and close your nickel-and-dimed account at Bank of Steal My Money and open an account with MainStreet. And no, they didn't pay me to write this!
