I highly recommend this facility for all your storage needs. It is always very clean and well maintained. Ian and Chelsea, the current husband and wife management team, are great people who actually take the time to get to know their customers on a personal level. With them, you are much more than just a number. They will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with their service.

I rented a Uhaul at this facility after buying a piece of furniture across the parking lot at the Habitat for Humanity Restore that wouldn't fit in my car. Let me just say how fantastic Ian and Chelsea are!!! Both managers are extremely knowledgeable about truck rentals. From start to finish, my rental experience was above average. I've rented Uhauls from plenty of other locations, but this location is by far the best. I will definitely be back if I need to rent a van/truck again.

I highly recommend Security Public Storage in Herndon. The onsite managers, Ian and Chelsea Dunlap, exemplify professionalism in every way. The facility they manage is excellent.

Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap were outstanding in their communication throughout my 3-month overseas trip. I always felt like a valued part of their family, not just a customer. They were incredibly accommodating with my requests, even when external circumstances made things challenging. For instance, when my car broke down and I was unable to move it from storage by the 6:00pm deadline, they went out of their way to bring help and stayed with me until around 8:00pm without charging extra. Their location and pricing were also very reasonable. I highly recommend their services based on my personal experience.

We leased the Security Public Storage for over 10 years. The affordability, location, and access is definitely a 10 for this location. The onsite Management team is definitely a plus since they can address any needs immediately from replacing a light bulb, obtaining locks, and getting boxes. This location is super clean and we appreciated that.

I have been using Security Public Storage for a few years. The owners are friendly, and very helpful honest people. The facilty is very clean and safety is one of their priorities. Their prices are fair and unlike other storage companies they don't raise their prices after just a month of usage. I highly recommend SPS.

Life savers!!! I arrived 30 minutes before closing and they took care of me fast and easy. Renting a truck has never been this easy. Return was simple. Chelsea was great over the phone to answer all my questions and Ian expedited my reservation process in person. Both are good people and look forward to using their services again.

The property managers of this facility should be the trainers of how all facilities should be managed. The managers were attentive, professional and courteous. They came to my unit which was outside and offered water on a hot day in a very nice SPS thermos. All around 5 star service!

This facility has no consideration for its neighbors, nor does it comply with ToH nor FFXCO code.
At 550am, June 1, a diesel truck dropped off a semi-trailer before opening hours, awaking my entire family & my neighbors. This is not the first time vehicles or clients used the facility after hours, and Security Storage management does nothing!

I've been using this storage facility for about 8 months. It was my first time using a storage unit in many years. That said, I was completely dismayed to find that most storage companies approach their pricing model as though their units have a fluctuating value, like gold. Not being a fan of that approach, I was happy to find that Security Public Storage doesn't play that game. The pricing is very transparent. Additionally, the local management of Spring St, Herndon is fantastic. They remember your name, share your (mover) recommendations to other customers, and go out of their way to treat you a valued customer. I meant to send this review months ago but happy to note that this management team continues to be authentic and awesome.
