I have been coming to Sheldeez since I moved here 3 years ago. There are so many wonderful things I can say about this salon. First they have amazing customer service. They have their prices on their website and you can book there as well. Second Jojo is the best braided in the DMV!! She is fast, effective and really wants her clients to be happy with the service. I have also had Sharone who can style, cut and color like no other! Everyone is so kind! Lastly, the salon is clean!! You have good parking. Which is a big plus for me. This salon does it all from relaxed to a natural flat twist to getting your hair braided all can happen here (including getting the hair which they wash and clean in store). Everyone I have referred them to has had an excellent experience.

I’ve had three great experiences here, and each time I’ve walked out feeling happy and well taken care of.
My first experience was with my 3-year-old son. i called to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in same day. Keja washed and braided his hair with such ease and patience—it was such a pleasant experience for him. I returned to Keja again for knotless braids, and they came out good too.
My husband also gets his hair braided here and is always happy with the service.
Most recently, I had my hair styled by Priscilla—I got the viral Fulani weave, and she did an amazing job. I appreciate how my head does not hurt because the braids are not too tight. She works really fast too. The style came out bomb.
What I really appreciate about Sheldeez is that it’s a true full-service salon, which is rare to find these days. All the women here are kind, funny, and incredibly skilled. The customer service is top-notch. It’s hard to find good people who not only do great work but are also warm and professional.
If you’re looking for skilled stylists, a friendly environment, and reliable service, I recommend giving Sheldeez a try.

I just finished getting my hair done by Jello and she did her thing!! I wanted to get a natural looking sew in weave, but I’ve always have difficulties with finding hair to match my sandy brown color, but Jello came to the rescue! She dyed the bundles that the Salon provided and it matched my hair color spot on! She braided my hair but not too tight and left the right amount of my hair out to blend with the weave. Jello is not just an amazing stylist but person as well! Ladies, if you want your weave done right, Jello is that stylist!

I’ve been coming to jello for 6 years now and she has done wonders for my hair. her sew-ins are versatile and durable. I go to school for 3-4 months at a time and my hair looks just as good as day 1

To me it’s a beauty school and I was not aware of this. I got a scalp detox and it was just my Second wash with sea breeze. My hair was still damp at the roots. Told them and she put me under the dryer. I took myself under, paid, tipped and left.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I did my hair Aug 6th. All I wanted was a wash and pixie style. The curls were not done properly and the curls were done lifted up for some reason. How is it possible that the co-owner of a black salon can't do pixie style? Unfortunately, I could not use my hair for the event and had to look for another hair stylist the next day.

Visited the shop yesterday as a New Client. Definitely plan to return, soon. Had a real good experience. Sharone was on point with her services ( cut, trim, flatiron and style). Walked out doing the “Denzela”Walk ( female version of Denzel Washington)!

i got a silk press, wash & blow dry included with a trim. loved my hair at first, didn’t really like the customer service. after washing my hair i’ve come to the realization that my curls are completely heat damaged, i don’t think the stylist used any heat protection & for $150 i don’t think it was worth it.

Do not , Do not go to this shop.
I received a confirmation by text saying my total would be 90 dollars. Ok cool!!! I have a really short pixie cut!!! Short!!! I asked the lady to cut it low in the back tapered the back. She snipped my face a few times with her scissors . My side burns are thick and not clean and the back is not tapered nor cut down! I went in for a color and a cut !!! I went to pay ( hair short not tapered) it was not 90 it was 160… I showed the lady my confirmation price and she said no that doesn’t matter. I was so pissed off!!! I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone . Prices are very high and not affordable !!!

Sharon did hair. Same day appointment. Very professional. Friendly. And business. She values your time, She did excellent job, but also presented great customer service. I would highly recommend.

If I could give negative I would. Every mom and father needs to know that if your kid cries they will cancel services even in the middle of the service. They are NOT family oriented at all. Worse customer service. They kicked my child and another child out two days before Mother’s Day because they were crying to much. I will never come here and will tell ALL my social media mom groups this information. Kids cry when they get their hair done so don’t promote children hair care if you can’t handle tears. They don’t care about families at all.

Ms Keja is the BEST to ever do it. Such a comfortable salon. The staff is incredibly kind and takes care of you when you walk in and walk out. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Ms Keja is very gentle with my head as well, which is great and always knows what to do. I walk in with a pinterest board and she ethier replicates it exactly or recommends me something better. I am a student and an actor and she did my hair for headshots (pictured) as well. She’s so good she’s one of the first people I text when I come home from college.
She gives great advice on hair maintenance, what to do at home, keeping my hair healthy between styles. Bonus: she’s an incredibly sweet person, I always end up laughing in the chair.
It is so unbelievably valuable to have a braided who is quick (braid refresh in under 2 hours and looks like a new head of hair), incredibly efficient, and recognizes the value of looking out together. These are some of my recent favorites but she’s been doing my hair since my sophomore year of highschool bcs I love her! BOOK HER.
