Cockerham Fuel Center #4 is a decent stopping place and a nice little find off I-77 in the Hillsville/Woodlawn area. It is fairly compact but clean and well spaced. The business is considered a hidden gem for its food. Reviews highlight a delicious Philly cheesesteak, flavorful fried chicken, excellent mashed potatoes and carrots, and the best macaroni salad and deviled eggs. A BLT made late at night was also called the best ever. The food customers appear to be local, which says a lot. However, the bathrooms are described as crusty, grimy, and poorly supplied. There is parking for truckers. While overall okay and a place customers will return to, some note there are better gas stations nearby and that the restaurant line could use streamlining for an exceptional experience.

Best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. They also had the best macaroni salad and deviled eggs. If you get the chance to stop here, try the food you will not regret it.

I came in at 1:00 AM. The lady made me a BLT. Actually gave me the menu to choose from. I was vary surprised. Needless to say the best BLT I've ever had thank you and will definitely be back. P.S. TRUCKERS there is parking !!! I would give more stars if i could
